Brittney Griner GOES NUTS After Bill Maher EXPOSED His Gender — “Sophie Cunningham Was RIGHT”

protect young girls in the locker room or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men. >> It really don’t make a difference if you say he or she to me. >> Again, is this this is where about 80% of the country is? >> Bill Maher found a surprising ally. Sophie Cunningham found a surprising defender.

And the most unexpected duo in the history of professional basketball, a liberal HBO comedian and a conservative Missouri-born Indiana Fever guard, just proved something that the WNBA’s task force, its commissioners, its coaches and political shirts, and its players leaving benches during live timeouts could not prove in 3 months of controversy.

80% of the country agrees with Sophie Cunningham. >> Title IX in the early ’70s was something that was a it was a major event in feminism that we finally have this law that says at colleges, right? And I think high schools, too, but definitely colleges, women women sports have to be given equal to men’s sports. So that women aren’t get, you know, And this led to the WNBA and lots of other stuff.

This seems to be the opposite of that. >> Bill Maher said it on Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO, verified, documented, and now sitting on the permanent record of the most explosive season in WNBA history. >> But it seems to be so many instances, I think, where wokeness is the opposite of what I grew up as a liberal.

Liberalism was let’s give the women an equal shot. >> This is let let’s put a male in the in the swimming pool with the women. I don’t get it. >> It’s crazy. >> Brittney Griner, who said it is a crime to separate someone for any reason in sport, who publicly embraced Cunningham in what Riley Gaines described as an intimate moment at a Connecticut Sun game, despite being on opposite sides of the most divisive debate this league has ever had.

>> And meanwhile, trans people who genuinely want to compete at athletics and swimming or whatever it may be, they they’re the ones who are suffering here. They need to be found a way to compete fairly and justly. >> your answer then? >> I think there’s one or two answers. I think they either compete against their biological sex, as many of them did before, or you create an entirely new category for transgender athletes.

>> is watching her crime to separate position get destroyed by the most prominent liberal voice in late-night American television. Sophie Cunningham was right. Bill Maher said so. >> What does it actually mean to be equal? You know what [snorts] I mean? Like women are actually equal to men, then there would be no WNBA, would there? You would just be good enough to play in the NBA with us.

Or, here’s another idea that’s going to be very controversial, you could shut the [ __ ] up. >> AND HE IS NOT BACKING DOWN. Bill Maher came out in support of Cunningham on his Real Time with Bill Maher HBO show. >> It’s the reason why people call Sophie Cunningham MAGA Barbie, and people are starting to fill the arenas to watch her and Caitlin Clark.

She’s not apologizing for saying that there should be no men in this women’s sport. [music] It’s caused an absolute crisis, and people are losing their mind. Photo of Brittney Griner, a full beard after being released from a Russian prison. >> The WNBA’s Brittney Griner is a man. >> pointing out the absolute lunacy that has transpired since Cunningham dared to say she wanted to protect young girls in locker rooms and sports from biological men.

>> That the Olympics have said they are not allowing trans women anymore competing in women’s sports. Um I I imagine that I imagine this is going to be an issue in the Democratic primaries. It’s another one where you can make Democrats die on the hill that they died on last time. >> is an issue within the Democratic Party, that’s their own damn problem.

Biological men should not be competing against biological girls in sports. >> [applause] >> His exact documented position, verified, published, and sitting on the Outkick record. This is where about 80% of the country is. And then Maher went after the people who twisted Cunningham’s words. >> It’s hard not to think about even when I watch sports I’ll be thinking about like like think about okay okay say say LeBron James changed his gender.

You know what I mean? Okay, can he stay in the NBA or because he’s a woman does he have to go to the WNBA where he will score 840 points a game? >> Think about how crazy that sounds. Her words have been manipulated and twisted to fit a certain narrative and it’s disgusting. It’s weak. It’s frankly straight out of the left’s playbook.

This is what they do. This is how they operate. >> [applause] >> I am a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. >> Yeah, I I don’t want to get in the way of anybody’s civil rights, civil liberties, or anything like that. But what about protecting the young ladies? Young ladies going up against men, but you know, biological men.

There is no excuse for that. And by the way, you know what? You could be you know, Lia Thomas for example was you know, was a male and >> He was ranked like over 400 now. >> He was ranked like over 400th in the world. And then she and then he became a she, okay? He became you know, transitioning and number one. Well, damn it.

Does it really take an Einstein to realize that there’s something wrong with that picture? I mean, are we kidding ourselves? This we’re talking sports. >> That’s my lane and I’m telling you there is no reason for a biological male >> [music] >> to be competing in women’s sports. We certainly don’t see biological women transitioning and trying to compete in men’s sports.

[clears throat] >> I don’t hear about that. >> Sophie Cunningham saying she wants to protect little girls in locker rooms all of a sudden turned into Minnesota coach Cheryl Reeve wearing a trans kids belong shirt on the bench last week. What? What does that even mean? >> A women’s league run by women decided to decided a shirt wearing saying [music] for the girls was too offensive.

Meanwhile, State Farm Arena put up a pro pro trans message on the big big screen [music] but won’t allow the shirt that states basic biological >> What is so offensive or scary about this message? The genetic message of gender. The genetic message of biological facts. While the WNBA doesn’t know what a woman is, the shirts that reference the XX chromosomes are banned.

>> When did Sophie Cunningham say trans kids didn’t belong? Show me where she said that. How did we get from point A Sophie to point B Cheryl? >> Men should not play sports against [music] women. I’m not going to get into all the [ __ ] that’s going on out here in the world today. If anybody thinks that, I think they’re stupid.

Uh [music] I’m not >> Bill Maher on HBO asking the question every Clark fan has been asking since Cheryl Reeve wore that shirt specifically when facing the Indiana Fever on national television. >> This uh thing that he’s doing where he’s pretending that he’s a woman is very smart. >> It really don’t make a difference if you say he or she to me.

>> Some psychopath can just pretend that they’re a woman and knock women over on the court. >> to take this out. Norman’s a [ __ ] woman, dude. >> I bet. >> It’s a giant dude. A giant dude is dominating these chicks. So, the more controversy there is, the more people do come to see them. >> The crazy thing about the WNBA, imagine if the NBA had the same sexual dynamic.

Imagine if the most of the team was a bunch of gay dudes who were like very aggressive and black. >> we get from Cunningham saying she wants to protect girls to Reeve wearing a political statement on the bench? What is the logical connection? Where is the leap? >> 400 plus in the world competing as a male, transitions to female, and he was number one.

If we’re going to act like transitioning from male to female doesn’t involve an advantage for that trans athlete, I have nothing to say to you. You’re not You’re not You’re not exercising common sense. >> And Maher, the man who describes himself as a liberal who has been on the left side of most cultural debates for 30 years, is standing in the same place as Charles Barkley, Stephen A.

Smith, Joe Rogan, Piers Morgan, Riley Gaines, and Sophie Cunningham. >> A woman decided to stand up for women and female spaces. And that woman is now getting lambasted by other women because she doesn’t support transgender people in female spaces. Sophie Cunningham, who many of you will probably know from this video, recently got herself in hot water because she had the audacity to say that women and girls should be protected.

>> 80% of the country, two peas in a pod, beautiful. And then came the political voice that made the story even bigger. >> Shouldn’t biological men play in the WNBA? The answer should be no. That should be the answer from everybody. Should biological people that were born men play in the WNBA? No, full stop.

Any other thing that there is no Whoa. So, are you saying transgenders don’t have a right to say that? Man, SHUT THE [ __ ] UP. I AIN’T SAY NOTHING like that. You asked me a specific question. Do transgenders belong in the WNBA if you’re born a biological man? No. Okay? >> J.D.

Vance expressed support for Sophie Cunningham for going against norms amid pushback on women’s sports discourse. >> If you can’t define what a woman is, then you’re an idiot. And this is nonsense. And that’s what your ideology is. Your ideology is so stupid, you can’t define the difference between a male and a female. And so, you’ve decided that people identifying with something means it’s a real thing, and you have to say it because everybody else says it, and they scare you, and they’ll they’ll cancel you and go after you. So, everyone’s agreed to nonsense.

So, this is where we painted ourselves into this dumb-ass [ __ ] corner. >> The Vice President of the United States expressing support for Sophie Cunningham on the record publicly after Bill Maher defended her on HBO and said 80% of the country is where she is. >> I’m sorry, but there’s no way that you can convince me that that is a woman right there.

No. I’m sorry. There’s nothing that anybody can say that’s going to convince me that that is not a man. Prove me wrong. >> The political spectrum supporting Cunningham now runs from Bill Maher, a long-time liberal HBO host, to J.D. Vance, the vice president of the United States. >> Front Office Sports reporting that neither Enes Kanter nor Royce White will be allowed to play in the WNBA.

Really? >> [music] >> Quote, “The league is not going to give oxygen to efforts designed to mock the league or use this topic to demean and marginalize others.” >> That is not a political coalition. That is a country telling the WNBA’s woke faction something they refuse to hear. >> You’re going to have a tremendous platform, but where is that going to be on your radar in terms of advocating for athletes, all athletes, trans athletes to be able to play? >> Oh, I mean, that that ranks high on the on the list of of things that I’ll be

fighting for and speaking up against. You know, everyone has everyone deserves the right to play. >> The WNBA’s Brittney Griner is a man. >> That’s not a woman. That’s not a female. That’s not even a trans person. That is a man. >> Brittney Griner is, in fact, a man. >> And the WNBA’s response to having Bill Maher and J.D.

Vance simultaneously defending one of its players for saying she wants to protect young girls in sport was to keep not defining what a woman is in its own CBA. >> But I’m never going to think it’s all right for men to play sports against women. I I just I and I don’t even think that’s controversial. That’s the thing that’s funny.

Like some of this stuff some of this stuff make Like when you see these these debates on television, I’m like, “Yeah, men shouldn’t play sports against women.” I’m done. I don’t want to hear you try to explain it to me. No. No. Uh no. No. No, I don’t want to hear it. I’m not going to argue with you. Men shouldn’t play sports against women.

I’m done. There’s a lot of we can argue over. That ain’t one You women out there Y’all petty, man. Hey, LeBron, you are 100% right on these girls hating on Caitlin Clark. >> The task force met, produced nothing. The league privately deemed Enes Kanter Freedom ineligible without announcement. And Maher went on HBO and said 80% of the country agrees with the player who got clotheslined for saying what the CBA already implies.

>> I’d be the greatest women’s basketball coach in history. Cuz I don’t like LeBron James. I like Michael Jordan much better. But But I’d >> [applause] >> But I’d go up to LeBron James. It doesn’t matter. I’d say, “LeBron, did you ever have any desire to be a woman?” Because what I’d love for you to do is star on my team that I’m building up.

I will have the greatest team in history. They’ll never lose. Nobody will come within 70 points of this team. >> Here is the detail that changes everything about how this story is supposed to be told. >> I have two little girls who play sports, who play soccer. I They’re young and I see how much hard work they put into their sport.

And only to have a boy or a man who They’re biologically built different to come in and just play better and take your spot. Look, if you want to play in a trans league, go ahead, but not in girls sports. Don’t try to erase women and girls. >> Six seasons as Phoenix Mercury teammates from 2019 to 2024. Cunningham celebrated Griner’s return from Russian detention publicly and vocally. She supported her.

>> I think they know they have players >> in the W that will not be capable of passing a basic gender test. Let’s listen to >> Brittney Griner is a weird case. He’s a man, yes, that much is obvious, but not the way you think. >> You ever heard Brittney Griner talk? >> Yes.

The voice would make you think that something going on. >> Brittney was held in a man’s Russian prison. You can see it, but there’s no widespread outrage or article or anything about that. To me, that is the most suspicious part about all of this. >> He was in her corner when Griner came home, and now they are on opposite sides of the most divisive debate in WNBA history.

>> TO STOP ACTING LIKE SOMEBODY THAT’S SPEAKING UP ON BEHALF OF girls like a Sophie Cunningham, LIKE A RILEY GAINES, ARE SCOURGES OF THE EARTH. THAT IS AN IRRESPONSIBLE THING TO DO. YOU ARE A FEAT OF COACH FOR A FEMALE BASKETBALL TEAM. >> CUNNINGHAM saying she wants to protect young girls in sport.

Griner saying it is a crime to separate athletes for any reason. >> It It really don’t make a difference. You You say he or she to me like when I’m out in public, like my teammates sometimes will get mad if somebody call me a he, but I’m just like, I don’t care. Like, you know, we go sit down and get some food and they’re like, “Sir, what do you want?” I’m like, “Yeah, let me get the steak.

” “Medium well, thank you.” When I’m in TSA and I’m going through TSA and, you know, the guy pats me down so I can go through, I’m cool. I didn’t have people come RUNNING LIKE, “NO! IT’S A GIRLS!” I’m like, “Hey, you making it awkward. Yeah. I’m just trying to get through. Whoever can pat me down the fastest, I don’t care.” >> Yeah.

>> I’ve had the opposite where someone was like, “Hey, you know, it’s just against the rules. Like, he can’t pat you down. Like, she has to pat you down.” And then she walks up and she’s looking at me, she go looking at my chest, looking me up and down, looking at my chest, trying to look at the ID, making it awkward.

Or they’ll ask [music] me, “You really a girl?” >> No, I’m lying. >> That is what Bill Maher heard offending when he says 80% of the country is where Cunningham is. Not a culture warrior, not a bigot, not a right-wing grifter. A player who publicly supported her LGBTQ teammate through the most difficult year of that teammate’s life, who celebrated Griner’s return from Russia, who called everyone welcome at her table, and who said she wants to protect young girls in sport and got booed in four cities for it while Sheryl Reeve wore a political

shirt on national television specifically when facing her team. >> Sophie Cunningham, otherwise known as MAGA Barbie in the WNBA, is a superstar player. She’s one of the most famous female athletes in the world because she stood up for women in women’s sports saying only biological women should be allowed to play in the WNBA.

>> [music] >> And for that, she is literally risking her life. Check this out. This is what happened to Sophie Cunningham last night when she was clotheslined >> [music] >> by a filthy, dirty player for Chicago who has a name that I can’t pronounce, [music] or maybe I just refuse to do that. That’s my right as American.

But this is a player that has attacked Caitlin Clark, gouged her eye out, that has now bloodied the face of Sophie Cunningham. And as soon as she did this, she tweeted white [music] privilege, meaning she’s declaring this is a race crime. Now, if a white woman was doing this to black women, it’d be the number one story in the world.

She’d be banned from the league forever. [music] But somehow black women are allowed to get away with this against white women. And it’s white women in the league who make themselves a target by simply standing up for traditional values and common sense. >> 80% of the country, including Bill Maher, including J.D.

Vance, including Charles Barkley, including Stephen A. Smith, including Joe Rogan, including Piers Morgan, including Aryna Sabalenka, including the IOC, the NCAA, the WTA, and 27 state legislatures >> said, “I do think that there is a thing called pretty privilege. There is a thing called white privilege. There is a thing called tall privilege.

And we have to acknowledge that. And so, um the part of it is about race because if you think about the Brittney Griners of the world, you know, why did she have to go to play in Russia? >> pay her. Yeah, cuz they wouldn’t pay her. >> Cuz they wouldn’t pay her. >> We have grown as men and women out here doing whatever they can to try to make sure that does not happen.

That is the weirdest thing >> [music] >> in the world, but it is what it is, and I’m glad that Caitlin has a great head on her shoulder. >> All of them in the same 80% and Brittney Griner’s crime to separate position in the other 20% while the WNBA’s task force holds meetings and produces nothing. >> The Clark’s head coach, Stephanie White, well, she didn’t want to biological men kicked out of women’s sports, and she made that pretty clear.

>> I don’t know that I would say that I’m educated enough from a scientific standpoint. Uh I don’t ever believe that exclusion is an answer. I just don’t. Um I I do think you know, when we think about various levels of sport, um various governing bodies of sport, and things that go into that.

Like I said, I’m not a I’m not educated enough at the different levels. Um I know growing up I played with the boys all the time. >> Sophie Cunningham said she wants to protect young girls in sport. Bill Maher said that is where 80% of the country is. J.D. Vance said he supports for going against norms. Piers Morgan called trans athletes in women’s sport grotesquely unfair.

Charles Barkley said he cannot believe people got mad at her for telling the truth. Riley Gaines watched Cunningham and Griner embrace warmly at a professional basketball game despite being on opposite sides of the biggest debate in WNBA history. And the WNBA held a task force meeting that produced no definition of what a woman is while privately deeming Enes Kanter freedom ineligible without public announcement is Bill Maher saying 80% of the country is where Sophie Cunningham is the single most powerful mainstream validation the WNBA’s woke faction

cannot dismiss and does the Cunningham-Griner warm embrace prove that human relationships are always more complicated than the political narratives built around them? Drop it in the comments.
