Kelly Ripa Reacts as Daughter Lola Makes Cryptic Comment About Boyfriend
Lola Consuelos had fans laughing with her latest social media post.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos‘ daughter recently shared photos of herself enjoying a beach vacation via Instagram. “I’m usually always smiling,” she captioned the August 22 upload, which featured her making a straight face in front of picturesque ocean backdrops. Ripa hopped in the post’s comments, calling her daughter “so beautiful.” (Ripa and Consuelos also share sons Michael and Joaquin.)
Lola posted another Instagram snap from her beach getaway via Instagram on Monday, August 31. Sporting a red Baywatch-like bathing suit, the photo features Lola looking bored on a beach chair, watching her boyfriend, Cassius Kidston, take a nap.
“Should I wake him up and ask him when he knew he liked me?” she jokingly captioned the pic.
Fans and celebrities reacted to the funny photo in the post’s comments, including Olivia Rodrigo, who wrote, “Hahahahha.” Users got excited over Rodrigo’s comment, with one person writing, “We need an Olivia and Lola collab love you both!” (Lola has released several singles and an EP over the years.)
In a comment of her own, Ripa shared several red heart emojis, while Jessica Capshaw shared two laughing emojis. One fan commented, “Hmmm 32 years and I don’t think I ever asked him that. I’m going to ask him tonight.” Another added, “100%. Married 31 years and I still ask! Lol.”

Both Lola and Kidston attended New York University. Lola moved to London shortly after graduating from college in 2023 and still lives there with Kidston.
Back in July, Lola took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday tribute for her boyfriend. “Happy birthday to my love in every lifetime. My sweet Cassius, with the biggest heart, the best smile, and the coolest dance moves. I LOVE our love,” she wrote on July 10. “You’re forever my angel on this earth. I won the lottery with u. Thank you, universe for bringing me my best friend!!!!!! The invisible string theory is a real thing!!!!”

Lola’s recent beach pics could be a hint that she’s on vacation with Ripa and Mark, as they are currently on their annual summer break from Live With Kelly and Mark. The morning talk show has aired prerecorded episodes since last month and is expected to return new live episodes for Season 39 on Tuesday, September 8.
Ripa teased how she and Mark have spent their time off in a Sunday, August 30, Instagram Story post. The TV personality shared a picturesque photo of the sun setting over the ocean and set the post to the song “The Moon and the Sky” by Sade. The upload didn’t feature a caption, but Ripa tagged Mark’s Instagram profile.
