The WNBA has refused to define what a woman is. Yet they have allowed a woman to become a man. >> Was she receiving testosterone treatments when this occurred? >> Lashia Clarendon. On August 27th, 2026, Travis posted on X what every legal analyst who looked at the WNBA’s handling of Enes Kanter Freedom immediately recognized as a potentially catastrophic institutional contradiction. WNBA has a major legal

problem. They already allowed a player who identified as a man to play in the league for years. They celebrated it publicly. So how can they keep Enes Freedom and that highway underscore 30 out now? >> The reason why people call Sophie Cunningham Maga Barbie and people are starting to fill the arenas to watch her and Caitlin Clark.

 She’s not apologizing for saying that there should be no men in this women’s sport. It’s caused an absolute crisis and people are losing their mind.  And the legal trap Travis identified is so complete, so thoroughly documented, and so publicly unavoidable that the WNBA, the organization that ejected Enes Kanter Freedom for wearing a dictionary definition, now has to explain in front of the entire country why the person they publicly celebrated as a man was allowed to play while the men who self-identified as women were privately deemed ineligible with no public announcement.

I They’re young and I see how much hard work they put into their sport and only to have a boy or a man who they’re biologically built different to come in and just play better and take your spot. Look, if you want to play in a trans league, go ahead, but not in girls sports.

You asked me a specific question. Do transgenders belong in the WNBA if you’re born a biological man? The WNBA’s own official documentation, press releases, guide books, game notes use the pronoun him for Layshia Clarendon throughout their playing career.

 Women can own There’s no transgender people going to play in the WNBA. If you don’t like it, kick rocks. We’re not going and we’re not going to discuss it anymore. >> WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert stated publicly at this time of Clarendon’s surgery, “We are so proud that Layshia is part of the WNBA and we know that their voice and continued advocacy will not only support and help honor and uplift many other non-binary and trans people.

Hey, LeBron, you 100% right on these girls hating on Caitlin Clark. >> The league used him in official documentation and Clarendon played from 2013 to 2024, an 11-year career including years during which they were publicly transitioning, had top surgery, and the league referred to them as him in official records. Clarendon is a

woman who identifies as a man, and the league allowed her to play while receiving gender change treatments, likely including testosterone treatments, and referring to her as him in all league press releases, guidebooks, and game notes. >> seeing my chest the way I’ve always seen it and feeling a sense of gender euphoria [music] as opposed to gender dysphoria.

Was she receiving testosterone treatments when this occurred? That seems likely. So, in addition to allowing a woman who identified as a man to play basketball in the league, it likely the league permitted gender treatments including testosterone for a player. >> Sophie Cunningham, otherwise known as MAGA Barbie in the WNBA, is a superstar player.

 She’s one of the most famous female athletes in the world because she stood up for women in women’s sports saying only biological women should be allowed to play in the WNBA. [music] And for that, she is literally risking her life. Check this out. This is what happened to Sophie Cunningham last night when she was clotheslined by a filthy, [music] dirty player for Chicago who has a name that I can’t pronounce or maybe I just [music] refuse to do that.

 That’s my right as an American. But, this is a player that has attacked Caitlin Clark, gouged her eye out, that has now bloodied the face of Sophie Cunningham. And as soon as she did this, she tweeted white privilege meaning she’s declaring this is a race crime. Now, if a white [clears throat] woman was doing this to black women, it’d be the number one story in the world.

 She’d be banned from the league forever. [music] But, somehow black women are allowed to get away with this against white women. And it’s white women in the league who make themselves a target by simply standing up for traditional values and common sense. >> Elevated levels of testosterone are prohibited in most leagues, male and female, because they are considered performance enhancing.

 In order to exclude Freedom and White, the league would have to argue Layshia Clarendon wasn’t actually a man, which directly contradicts the public statements the league has already made celebrating her transition to a man. That is the trap, complete, inescapable, documented. >> They released a statement praising her on becoming a him.

 They said they welcome him to play in the league. >> WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert stated publicly at the time of Clarendon’s surgery, quote, we are so proud that Layshia is part of the WNBA. >> You have a woman who has decided to identify as a man, and when she chopped her boobs off and potentially began to receive other gender-related surgeries, treatments, whatever else, we don’t know cuz it’s not specified here.

 The WNBA said, you are welcome. We will use whatever pronouns you want to use. You are effectively a man who is paying playing in the WNBA. >> The WNBA publicly celebrated Clarendon’s transition to a man, used him in official documentation, let Clarendon play while receiving gender treatments, and then privately deemed Freedom and White ineligible while staying publicly silent because their self-identification as women should make them eligible by the same logic the league applied to Clarendon’s self-identification as a

 The WNBA celebrated every step. Layshia Clarendon, who played for 12 seasons, including three with the Fever, is widely recognized as the WNBA’s first trans and non-binary player. >> He insisted that her teammates wear black trans lives matter t-shirts. >> Existing outside the binary for me is freedom.

 I learned that the my gender didn’t doesn’t fit into these molds they keep trying to hold it down and box it in. Sophie Cunningham said she wants to protect young girls in sport.

 She said biological men should not compete against biological women. She got clotheslined, booed, protested, and had white privilege posted at her from a locker room. >> said, “I do think that there is a thing called pretty privilege. There is a thing called white privilege. There is a thing called tall privilege.

 And we have to acknowledge that. And so, um part of it is about race because if you think about the Brittney Griners of the world, you know, why did she have to go to play in Russia?” >> pay her. >> Cuz they wouldn’t pay her. >> Cuz they wouldn’t pay her. They wouldn’t pay her. >> You know, but I I I’m rooting for Caitlin because I’ve been in that seat before. I’ve walked that road before.

 I hope they I hope she kills. I hope Aliyah Boston does amazing. And we have grown ass men and women out here doing whatever they can to try to make sure that does not happen. That is the weirdest thing in the world, [music] but it is what it is. And I’m glad that Caitlin has a great head on her shoulder. >> And the league that booed her has been celebrating a player they called him in official documentation for years while simultaneously refusing to define what a woman is. Sophie Cunningham was right.

The WNBA’s own documented history with Latasha Clarendon proves it. >> She’s bragging about becoming a man and growing a mustache. To me, that suggests that she’s taking some form of steroid that would allow a mustache to grow like this. >> She says that her WNBA teammates helped her draw a mustache on her face so she would look more like a man.

 Well, one of my teammates before I had my little mustache, she helped me fill it in one day for media day with her eyebrow pen. >> She talks about growing a mustache and wanting to have that mustache there. >> Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham sparked a brushfire this summer by voicing support for girls sports. Biological males shouldn’t be permitted to play in their leagues.

 In fact, that’s the way out of this mess. Declare the facts of biology and note that this league is for biological women only.  Note that this league is for biological women only. Write it into the CBA with a definition. Stop calling it bad faith. Stop ejecting fans in dictionary shirts. Stop leaving bench leaving players in games while ejecting the fans they confront. Write the policy. Define the term. Do something or suck it up. >> The Clark’s head coach Stephanie White, well, she didn’t want the biological men kicked out of women’s sports and she made that pretty clear.

>> I don’t know that I would say that I’m educated enough from a scientific standpoint. Uh I don’t ever believe that exclusion is an answer. I just don’t. Um I I do think um you know, when we think about various levels of sport, various governing bodies of sport and things that go into that.

 Like I said, I’m not a I’m not educated enough at the different levels. Um I know growing up I played with the boys all the time. >> “They are trying to fix a problem that does not exist,” said one LGBTQ advocate about the trans debate in the WNBA. But Clay Travis’s Clarendon revelation proves the problem exists in the WNBA’s own documented record.

 The problem is not trans women trying to enter the league. The problem is a league that publicly celebrated a player they called him in official documentation for years, while being unable to explain why two men self-identifying as women are ineligible. The WNBA celebrated a player they referred to as him in official documents for years, ejected a man in a dictionary shirt, called Canter ineligible in secret, and still cannot define what a woman is.

 Sophie Cunningham told them in one sentence. Clay Travis just proved she was right, one fan posted. They let a player they called him play for years while receiving gender treatments and possibly testosterone, then secretly deemed two men ineligible for identifying as women. The legal contradiction is catastrophic, another wrote.

 The WNBA’s way out of this mess is exactly what Cunningham said from day one. Biological women only. Write it down. Done.
