working in the medical field but without a formal education she could only find entry-level jobs she spent some time working as a veterinary assistant but eventually decided to take courses at a local College College to earn a medical degree that paid off and she landed a job as a physical therapist at a small clinic close to home in 1975 when Joy was 20 she and Charlie welcomed their first child a daughter and 3 years later they had a son the family moved into a nice quiet neighborhood and seemed to live a peaceful happy life to their
