 These were not from the bus, which would leave wider and deeper ruts, but belong to heavy off-road SUVs with large deep tread tires matching the station clerk’s description of two dark SUVs. The deputy specializing in tracks described the tread pattern, a horseshoe shape facing outward with grooves nearly 1.2 in deep.
