Mm-m.  Well, but  I tried. Jason got me this necklace and he also got me a transformer. He got me Optimus Prime.  I did.  Oo. Is it Is it the Optimus that  Yes.  change that turns into the the car and the robot? Nice. That’s I mean,  I’m very excited about it.  But is it voice command?  Yes.  Yes.

 Here’s the problem.  The kids are terrified of it. We had it on for approximately 30 seconds and there were there was just absolute screams of terror and we had to immediately turn it off.  So yeah, we got to appreciate it.  No, it’s been in the box and every time they come downstairs and see the box, they’re like, “It’s in the box.

” And I’m like, “Yes, it’s in the box.” “You’re not going to turn on the robot.” “No, I’m not going to turn on the robot.” Every single time  I would have to turn it on every time they What were the favorite gifts for the girls? What did you see him light up for?  Everything. I mean, there’s there was an egg.  Oh, Wyatt asked for a rainbow bear.

 She did. She flipped her.  Santa aka Chuck Hammond.   Is that who got that?  Yeah, cuz he went in to build a  And uh he saved our asses the night before  and she was at the mall  and he he hooked it up.  Uh because that was a last minute ask.  Yeah,  it was.

 It was only asking for Barbie,  correct? Which she got one. Ellie was asking for dinosaurs  and we got a lot of dinosaurs.  Probably too many dinosaurs.  Remember when I didn’t blow up your spot about being involved in Christmas shopping?  Yeah,  I’d manage that the way  I’d manage that tone, sir.  All right, fair enough.

  Fair enough. [gasps and sighs]  You better  tighten up over there. Um, can you explain to everybody how it works for like NFL families when you have a Christmas game? like did you guys open gifts at home later after the Eagles game or uh how did that work for you guys this year?  So, our plan up until probably Saturday was to do Christmas completely on the 26th.

Um, so basically to pretend that it wasn’t happening on the 25th and then suddenly that’s Christmas Eve and the following morning after the game, Jason would be home for the full day and we would get to do the full Christmas morning and then into Christmas dinner.  Um, we locked out and his schedule allowed him to be home Monday morning.

So we were able to do gifts Monday morning.  Nice.  And then dinner the 26th. We still did dinner the 26th because obviously we were a little busy. And then, you know, he likes to lolly gag. So, we were at the stadium until 10:00.  Just in the hidden steamer.  Yeah. Coughing his beard.  Oh, no. I don’t know.

   Just taking one time. Literally just  in good combo with my teammates. Like we said earlier, uh Kylie’s episode on New Heights is our most popular show and the 92enters have been dying to ask you all sorts of questions, Kai. Oh, yeah.  Since your last episode. Um so we’re going to do a little 92enters question and answer session.

 I showed it to  Rolex.  The one in the jail. I showed it to uh  I showed  I had no idea he got a Rolex.  I showed it to your dad last night at the uh dinner.  Was I still sitting at the table? [sighs]  I don’t think so.  The answer is no.  I was not cleaning up.  I I’ll give that a round of applause.

Cuz he guarantee he doesn’t wind that. He doesn’t wind it.  We got the box. That was one of the Christmas presents from a few Christmases ago. I got a winding box.  Oh, nice. So, it just stays on the right date and time.  I just leave it there. Yeah.  You wear it?  Well, I leave when I’m not wearing it, I  was going to say that back. That’s impressive.

 If it  is there anything you want to add to the story? No, I really feel like besides the fact that this man Okay, I don’t  this man. What am I getting blamed for?  Besides the fact that this man was out there yelling at me,  I was not yelling at you. It’s coaching you  aggressively.   This man was out there.

  It’s a little bit of a yell.  This man was out.  That’s what we talked about. That’s how I talked to Wyatt and Elliot. [snorts]  PIZZA. PIZZA. IT’S NOT A YELL. It’s a  man was trying to explain to me about how to cut on the outside edge.  Inside edge of one pro move right there. It’s a pro skier move.

 Here’s the problem, Trav.   I’m not an ice skater either.  So, he was trying to explain it in ice hockey skating terms.  He was.  And it wasn’t clicking. Shocker. So, if it were not for Keely, I wouldn’t have survived.  She definitely saved the day.  Key Anderson, all props to her.

 Um, she is the only reason that I  made it out of Aspen alive.  I’m assuming most people have skied. I had never even clipped into to skis before or been in skiing boots. They have like a tilt forward so that you’re constantly  sort of on your toes.  Burning. Quads are burning for sure.  Here’s the here’s the problem with that.

If you try to sit down, your butt does not touch the ground.  Nope.  I found that out the hard way when I got off the ski lift and immediately tried to bail onto my ass.  Mm- Can’t go back. You got to go side.  Mm-m. No. I must have been in a aerodynamic like fully folded down aerodynamic position for a good 10 seconds before  I was like,  “It’s not working.

 and had to bail out sideways.  There you go. Yeah.  Uh-huh.  Um, that was the moment I should have turned around. I should have gotten my ass right back on that ski lift. But the problem is is that I love a challenge.  I love a challenge.  And if someone’s like, physically, you should be able to do this. I’m like, then I can do it.

 And that is exactly what happened.  And you did it. And you did it.  I will say I think you were I think you said it took me 45 minutes to get down that mountain. I think you were being generous. I  think it took me like a good hour,  maybe a little more.  I was being extremely generous, Kylie.

We got to the bottom we got to the bottom of the hill 45 minutes before you did. That’s what  That’s what I’m saying. That’s what I’m saying. I think  Yeah. I’ll tell you what.  I had I had like five beers by the time I was at the bottom of that hill  when we finally saw you like in plain sight coming down.

 And that was the wor that was the scariest part because at the bottom all of the hills like merged and I was like there’s a lot of traffic at the bottom. I don’t know how she’s going to handle this.  Yeah, I’m not going  to lie. I got out the binoculars and was ready for  there was there was one period it was there was one there was one  more electric.

 There was one steep drop off probably like 25 30 minutes in.  Yeah. And it was a pretty short amount like short part of the hill, but I think it’s where we had like the  it was a mountain. We need to stop calling it a hill.  I think it was the moment where Jason was like, “We’re not waiting for you.

”  And  I was going and veered left. And if you veered too far left, you were going off the edge of the mountain.  Yeah.  And I I had this moment of  I don’t think I should.  Where did you go? I never saw that. It was like a I remember it was a drop off.  I do remember that.  It was trees and then a drop off.

 It was a It was steep ass drop off, too. I remember that.  Yes. And that was the moment I went sideways on the edge of the hill mountain and looked up at the clouds and was like, I think I should have gotten back on the ski lift.  Not to mention, I’ve had, like Jason said, I was in pizza the whole way down.

I’ve had two hip surgeries.  I’m not equipped to be at that angle for that long while pushing against  the snow. It was a It was hot mess express down that hill mountain.  What? What?   At the end at the end at the end the worst part was was the little skiers coming past me.  Oh yeah, the little ones.

 The kids just flying by. Yeah, they were flying. It was right at the end where you guys are talking about because it’s where the fast people merged with the  slightly slower people.  Yeah.  And I came out to to merge  and I’ll tell you what, these freaking fouryear-olds are just zipping past me. And I was like,  you know what, big tree fall hard.

 Okay, that’s why I’m scared and you’re fine.  Yeah.  And that was that’s how I comforted myself.  Big tree fall hard. My favorite part of the entire day was uh was getting the skis and just  knowing that you were not even supposed to be on this mountain.  The woman literally looked at me and said, “You shouldn’t be here.

” With a dead like dead face. I was like, “God,  it wasn’t like a condescending like uh you shouldn’t be here.” It was like  you should not be here.  She said, “How much experience do you have?” I said, “None.” She said, “You shouldn’t be here.”  It’s real. And then I sort of glanced around at the eight other people that we were with and was like, “Well, they’re not leaving, so I’m not leaving.

” And if you can’t beat them, join them.  Got to be a trooper. And you were going up there.  Well, let’s get to our next one. Uh from Julie FA 8600. Uh we also need the shark story from Kylie. Oh yeah, Jason is uh the best storyteller. But um how did it feel that Jason left you out in the middle of the uh of the infested waters and on the mountain twice? Two times.

 Yeah.  Well, I mean, in defense, she was nowhere near the shark, so I didn’t really leave her in a compromised.  What is nowhere near the shark mean?  She was in the same water he was.  You were significantly more see Kylie and you could see the shark.  Yes.  It was hard to see Kylie though.

 That’s how far away she was. It was No, it wasn’t. It was hard to see.  It  was hard to see her.  Let me tell you why it was hard to see me. Because this man was in and out of the water a [snorts] million times cuz he couldn’t stay up on his board.  If the shark would have been anywhere near you, I would have  I would have jumped in and attacked.

 It is the fastest I’ve ever seen a big man move was when he would fall in the water and then have to get back up on his board because  quick feet. Quick feet. He was not staying in that  water. Okay.  It’s lava. It’s lava.  This is before the shark. He could not stay in the water.

 Every time he fell in, it was full panic to get his ass back up on that board. He could not stay up. And to his defense, he was paddling out. And it was our understanding that if you were paddling out into the ocean that it was harder to stay up and if you were paddling in with the waves, it was much easier.  Wait. Yeah. this man.

But like we’re just out there sort of going around paddling, checking out what was underneath us. And I turn around and this man is  the fastest I’ve ever seen this man.  I was like, “Oh, look at him go. He’s not even.”  And all I all I said to him was, “Are you done?” And he was like,  Mhm.  Didn’t you gave her? Well, she was so she was so far away from me.

 I it was hard to hear what she said cuz she was so far away from the shark.  So it was hard to tell what she said.  This was as he was paddling past me. Travis, he had to paddle past me to get into the into the shore. He had to paddle past me and he didn’t say anything.  But I was I was out there. I was with the shark.

 It was It was me and that one guy and everybody else was.  Have you Have you gone back in the ocean with Jason since?  Not with Jason.  Who’ you Who’d you go in the ocean with?  Myself.  All right. Well, what was worse then? Being left on a mountain or being left in the ocean.  I feel like him not mentioning that there was a shark on his way past me is a little bit worse because it is an imminent threat to my life.

 You you I would have mentioned it.  This was  I feel like nowhere near you.  It wasn’t a threat to you. It wasn’t a threat to you, Kylie. It was only a threat to Jason.  Well, that’s because I was next to the shot.   I feel like this Have you ever heard the the how you get away from a bear? You just have to be faster than the slowest person.

 Oh, okay. Yeah, I’ve heard of that one, too.  I was his slowest person.  No,  he was like every man for himself at the very least. I know.  I didn’t want to ruin your experience. You were so far away from the shark and you’re having so much fun. I didn’t want to ruin the entire experience for you.  Yeah.

 You got to keep positive vibes out in Hawaii.  Yeah,  I was fine with it.  Playing loose.  I knew they were out there. As long as I don’t see them, I’m good.  Nice.  Yeah. All right. Honestly, if I did see them, I’d be a little fascinated, but I don’t want to see them.  I’ve seen one.  I just want to see sea turtles.  I’ve seen one out there.

 You saw one?  One. What? What? What kind of shark was it?  It was like a uh I want to say it was like a bull shark. It was like a  It’s not a good one to see.  It might have been sharks are one of the most aggressive ones.  The most.  No, it was like a It was probably like a 5-footer. It’s probably like a 5-footer.

 Yep.  Looked like a great white, but it was about a 5-footer. It looked like you were what?  You know what I mean? Like it didn’t it didn’t look like a hammerhead shark. You know what I mean? Like it looked like it looked like a foot shark breeds.  Yeah. I don’t know.  It’s a five-footer.  Yeah.

 It’s a 5-footer. Yeah. Well, the guy that was uh snorkeling and showing us all the reefs and everything said he knew a shark lived down here in this cave, so he just went down there and just like messed messed with it a little bit to get it to like come out of the cave.  The guy came out of the cave and the shark went right back in.

 Again, you just got to be faster than the slowest person. Kylie, [music] just remember that.  That’s it. That’s what he said. Kylie’s slower than me. I’m going to just scoot on past her and then I’m safe.   You got the next one.  From Suzy_R, I need Kylie’s reaction to Jason being nominated to sexiest man alive, please.

Uh, has Jason changed since receiving this huge honor?  Yeah, he has changed. I can see it in his eyes.  Am I more glowing? You are.  You look fabulous  with your helmet screen.   He has not changed. I I am on record for saying that I knew this.  Yeah.  Um I mean I married him, guys.  All right.

 Listen, I’m  3 weeks into the new year.  I’m not eating bacon anymore.  I’m done eating bacon.  Yeah, because it’s they I’ve had way too many. I’m definitely still eating bacon.  The one that we did have was that my dad and I would always go and get the tree.  Nice. Um, we were a real tree family  and we did not cut it down,  but we would go into like West Philly and pick a tree  cuz it was cheaper there.  West Philly. Did you guys go out to like Reading or like Lancaster?  No, we did not.  I heard there was a tree farm out there.

Let me be clear. We’ve recently been the past couple years we’ve gone to a Christmas tree farm and it is  delightful. Fantastic. Magical so much. They some of them do it right. You know, some of them do it right.  It really kickstarts the holiday feeling because  you get to go out there, walk through a bunch of Christmas trees, just living their lives, and then chop one down and take home its carcass. It’s so much fun.

 There you go.  Um, and by that I mean we get a fresh tree that lasts a really long time and it’s beautiful and smells delicious.  Smells amazing.  We’ve gotten a bird’s nest the last two years.  Two years in a row. Two years in a row.  There’s no bird in it. There’s no birds.  A  dead in the tree.

 Dead.  Travis, he’s  sure.  The girls went nuts over these dead birds.  Nobody.   They think it’s just like a stuffed animal, so they’re just playing with it. [snorts]  Can you Can you stop with the  bit? It’s not funny.  All right, I’ll stop.  There were tell you he had two birds living in his room.

 No, he was a kid. Yeah, he had two birds. No, he didn’t.  There’s two wild birds  just  living in your living room.  He keeps his he kept his window open.  Kept my room so tidy. Need a woman’s perspective cuz I feel like I’m going to be shunned if I don’t.  Yeah, paternity.  Is he on that call?  No, that Jake is he’s on paternity leave.

 It’s back, but it is almost here. We’re about two weeks out of the uh season kickoff. Actually, probably about a week and a half since we’re playing on a Wednesday out in uh Australia. Um but the NFL season kicks off next Wednesday. So, let’s get into everything from training camp and the preeason.  That’s right.

 And let’s start with you, Trap. Obviously, you guys just finished up uh St. Joe’s training camp out there in the wonderful state of Missouri.  Yeah.  Officially on to the you we’re done preseason games out now. We’re focused on the regular season. You guys open it up with the Denver Broncos. Big opener. But let’s rewind a little bit.

 How was it your 14th season at St. Joe’s?  Man, it’s crazy. It’s gone 14 years since the first time I walked up there. They all are the same. you know, Coach Reed runs this camp uh very I mean, I’ve only been under one coach and uh so I know the schedule like the back of my hand now. Um the biggest difference is I’m I’m I’m pretty prompt and on time uh nowadays uh my rookie year.

 I’ve seen you running down the hill a couple clips online though and so you’re still  That’s just my excitement to get things  going, you know. Um you know, excited for the day.  Yes. I would say year 14. Uh, I’ve been in the same dorm, 214, over at Scantland Hall for 14 years.

 Every year, same room.  Wow.  Same room. So, if you’re if you’re in  suite 214 over there at Scantland Hall, just know we’ve slept in the same bed,    on the same toilet.   Oh my gosh. It’s a time in the season that you have to have. And I love that coach Reed and and the Chiefs still get away from the city and we still take a trip away from the reality of things and get people away from, you know, the everyday that is Kansas City that I mean, you’re there for 6 months, you know, at the least if you’re not [music]

in even talking about the offseason. And it’s almost like a sanctuary for me up there in St. Joe. And it’s where I know I can just focus on my craft, getting my body as healthy as possible, um, all while making sure I I come to work every single day. And I put all I I put the pads on when we’re putting pads on to be able to to to get to build up the callus and the and and the armor that you need to have to to get through a a 16, 17, 18 game season or 20 game season, whatever it is. And we’re fortunate enough to

play this year. It’s that as well as the camaraderie and building that chemistry with the team and um and I don’t think you t you you get as much of that by doing it in the same place that you do the entire  I agree and u or or if you don’t you have to go you have to go to other areas to be able to incorporate that you know I think as I get older in my career I I really appreciate the fact that you know I did take those three weeks every single year to just focus on that and to be around the guys and to really just

dive in and be all in on what we’re about to, you know, um, endure together.  Yeah, I I 100% agree. I mean, we went away in college to, uh, higher ground. We went away when I first was at the Eagles with Andy to Lehi those first couple years, and I I was one of the minority players that like really enjoyed going away for camp.

 I mean, I I like there’s just something about like even I like going to St. shows this year. There’s a different like feeling being at like a college like that. Like even just walking around seeing the buildings, the public is over there and it’s open to people to just come on in and watch.

 Uh I remember hitting a sled for the first time in front of like a bunch of dudes just drinking beer and enjoying how cool it was to watch NFL players practice. And like even growing up for us, that was one of the only things we saw from the Browns. We went to like a training camp practice one year cuz it was so hard to get tickets.  Um, so it’s like you’re forced to spend time around your teammates and like is it a little bit different now because there’s like phones and people bring laptops and computers where like you can still kind of like disassociate. Yes.

But it definitely forces you to be together a little bit more. Um, and I don’t know, I always enjoyed that aspect of going to like one of these colleges. So, the stuff that I’ve enjoyed is just watching the Big Yeti like making some awesome moves and catches. Like, there’s been some  playing some good old ball, baby.

 There’s some been some really good clips of you like going up and getting the ball, putting a little a little a little. So, just so you know, this is one thing I liked watching this cuz you’re my brother and I thought it was great. I cannot stand when teams put these clips online because for every that’s what I’m saying.

 The Eagles do it too and like I love the Philadelphia Eagles and I love watching the clips but like  like they put out a clip of like Jaylen Carter beating the  out of like a guy who’s trying his hardest to make the team. It’s like dude, can we just like let practice be its own thing? We don’t need to show everything. Like  Yeah, but I mean that’s the the media is going to run with what they can get a hold of.

 Yeah,  you’re right. And it’s open practice, so there’s no point even holding it back. That’s just one thing. Like to me, if there’s one safe space that a guy should feel good about, like, hey, I’m going to try this new thing and like it might not work out, but I’m going to try it in practice because it’s not a game.

 And then all of a sudden, it it’s basically the old the worst cuz now it lives forever on social media. Any whatever. Um, but it wasn’t all good. It did start off with a lot of I mean I the only way I could describe it is fat shaming my brother internet and uh  listen man sometimes you just got to have you know some extra [laughter and gasps]  I was listen yeah you know what I’m saying like those sourdough yeah baby  everyone we were in a world there for a little bit where they were saying fat is bad fat is bad I’m just saying man

sometimes you know fat could be good too  what’s crazy is it AI has gotten so good. It was hard to tell cycling through those photos like what is the real photo? What is Travis,  man? Travis, that fat.  Yeah, I saw him last week. He looked way better than that.   He really had a hell weekend.

 He’s been wearing baggy shirts lately. So, maybe that’s it. Even the route right there where I where I beat Gilman, who’s a great player, and he got me a lot of the times in camp, too. And you don’t you don’t see everything uh that that’s out there. They just saw how slow that route was.

 And what they don’t realize is that that route is based off of a hundred other routes that I’ve ran that that camp and I’m setting up that move or I’m trying to entice that move and I’m going so slow it’s like I’m feeding you what you what you want to try and jump the the route that you think I’m going to run with the pace.  Exactly.

 Exactly. It and and it’s messing with the pace, man. That  was so  funny. Reading some of these comments on on that clip going viral and then obviously the the fat shaming and saying that I got a dad body. It’s all social media just having fun and uh and I I even laugh at this   I mean, it’s  pure comedy.

 Well, Andy uh was quick to have your back. He’s like, “Everybody’s saying Travis Kelce has a dad bot, but he is in good shape.” And I noticed that. Thanks, coach.  Yeah.  a big And listen, if there’s one person that wouldn’t say that, like if that wasn’t true, there’s no chance Andyy’s saying that, right? Which but I think um  yeah, I know you  other years where I’ve came in way fatter than I am this year for sure.

 Yes. Yeah. This is   we’re we’re we’re doing good so far.  I was actually What’s that’s so funny the difference of our positions. I was actually in encouraged to be fat going into  training camp. Like we know you’re going to lose like 10 pounds at training camp. Please come in a little fat, sir.

 Uh, we need you to be fat. Um, let’s get to some questions the Chief Sense want to know. How’s Pat doing?  Oh, Paty Mahomes, man. He’s out there slinging the ball, man. I’ll tell you what. Uh, obviously practice, it doesn’t matter if your quarterback is coming off an injury or not. He’s got on the special jersey. You’re not, you got to stay away from the QB.

 A lot of the season is dictated on how, you know, how good that quarterback plays. And that’s every team at every level, which is why there’s that golden rule, don’t touch the quarterback, don’t hit the quarterback, because that’s the guy that’s going to help catapult your team into into victory in a lot of different ways. And uh he’s he’s the most important position in football.

 That being said,  that being said, here comes the caveat.  That being said, Pat looks  awesome right now, right? I think I think right now he’s, you know, he’s on top of the reads. He’s getting the ball out. He’s he’s, you know, anytime he does get out of the pocket, he’s making great throws.

 And I think uh I think it’s going to take getting in there and feeling the bullets flying for him to feel comfortable in in what he’s doing. And it’s our job as his teammates to make sure he feels comfortable, you know, whenever that opportunity comes.  Are there things that you guys do to try and replicate because that’s a huge part of Pat’s game is being able to run, move, and throw on the run and uh be creative like that.

 Pat and the trainers that he’s worked with in the building and his uh his QB coaches that he works with in the building as well as outside of the building have done everything they possibly can to be able to simulate those kind of throws. And uh and he’s done an unbelievable job at getting himself to this point.

 You know, you I could see the hard work starting just weeks after the surgery that he had last year. And I could see the determination. I could see the the frustration in his mind that it it got to this point this year. And you know, that was uh that’s a huge reason why I’m still playing the game because I know that guy I like I want to be there for that guy.

 Uh you know, in every aspect of the game. Um and I think that’s uh that’s exciting coming into the year. We get a fresh start. Um and we’re a motivated group, baby.  You’re not just uh returning with Pat Mahomes, you’re also returning with a new old offensive coordinator or former offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, and that is Eric Benemy.

What has it been like having EB back in the building?  It’s a breath of  fresh air, man. I just love it, man. There’s uh there’s And this has nothing to do with who was on the staff last year. It’s just what the enemy brings to the table and how he goes about it, man. And he’s holding everybody accountable, me included.

 He’s gotten on my ass a few times. Um got me going on days that I needed it and uh and I love him for it. And if if you take the right mentality with a coach like this, knowing that his intentions are to make this team the greatest team he could possibly make it, and sometimes that that comes with uncomfortable talks and uncomfortable uh interactions.

 And as long as you know that where his intentions are and you don’t, you know, you don’t take things the wrong way or when you’re feeling shitty, you don’t let those negative emotions get to you and you you take coaching the right way, man. Alive. You you could see some of this kind of culture change back into into what it was.

 And we need to keep working on that. It’s not a fixed thing right now. It’s a it’s a year-long thing. and we’re going to have ups and downs in the season where I’m sure everybody will need some sort of accountability to be held in that room, you know, whatever room they’re in, if that makes sense. Just from who he is, you know, I’ I’ve known him for 14 years now and um I know his intentions.

 I know what he brings to the table and I’m I’m  fired up to have him back in the building, man.  What he brings from like a disciplinary leadership like, you know, tell it how it is like kind of coach and you like are happy to have that voice back. Is there another part of it that like the thing I’m excited about is I think in the NFL today like everybody plays this shell or at least they start in like this like two deep safety look and roll late like most of the best offenses have an established run game and I think EB

being a former running back does he bring an edge of like a mentality and also like a knowledge of that part of the game that I think you guys could benefit from? Yeah, I think uh I think we all know that old ball coach that’ll tell you that we got to run it down this motherfucker’s face.   Yeah.

 And there’s a mentality that comes with that. There’s a there’s there’s a if you say that every day that we put on pads and then you call the plays where we have to literally run it through a motherfucker’s face.  Yeah.  You start to create a  mentality and a mindset that I have no other option other than run through this motherfucker’s face.

   He’s told it to me 10 times now. That’s what I’m saying. So you so you start to incorporate that and it starts to become who you are and then you you become trained in that regard so that in the fourth quarter of week 10 when this team has seen this play not only twice this game but 10 other games that you’ve already played and they know it’s coming because you’re in the same formation and you’re you’re you’re doing the same motion.

 You’re you’re going to be ready to run it through this motherfucker’s face, you know? And and I think I think that’s something that you can’t  you can’t you don’t get out of just anybody. You you need somebody that has that authority, that has that that has that discipline in them, that has that ability to not only be relatable to you and motivating to you, but to be able to get that out of you when it’s not easy to do that.

 And that’s that’s something that EB has always been unbelievable at.  Well, part of running it through a motherfucker’s face is having a guy that can run it through your  face. And you guys got one of those. We got a few. We got a few.  You have a few. You’ve had and and you’ve had a few in the past, too. But run that  through a motherfucker’s face for sure.

 This and and pop like I mean those feet would be church. Either way, you got a really special one now. Kenneth Walker comes in fresh off the Super Bowl run. What has it been like at practice watching him? What do you What does he bring to the Chiefs this year?  I’ll tell you what, man. He brings leadership right away.

 I was not thinking you were going to go there first. Okay. All right. Uh, first thing that I saw was his leadership and how he uh approached practice. His practice habits were second to none. I mean, this guy finishes every  play. Like, it is a game situation. Every time he touches the ball, it is a game tempo.

 It is a game alert, like attention to detail. and he and and how he does that. You can’t look at him and be like, “Oh, man.” Like, you have to match that energy every time you touch the ball or it’s you’re just going to feel like you’re you’re not you’re not living up to that expectation of how we do things.  Yes.

 And um for him to be, you know, one of our biggest weapons right now and and and the guy that, you know, is going to get, you know, the majority that carries throughout the season. Um and for him to practice like that says a lot about who he is as a as a person and how he likes to attack the his job and how professional he is.

 And then you see what he does with the football in his hands and you’re just like, “Oh yeah, this this guy’s is as special as it gets in the running back room.” Um both in the run game and the pass game. We got the box situated with Kenneth Walker, yourself, Pat. What’s going on out at the receiver position is one of the things I’m waiting to see what happens.

Obviously, Rasheed Rice has been really, really good. The guy I’m excited to watch, I mean, worthy from last year. You got a number of guys, but the guy I’m really excited to watch is Cyrus Allen out of Cincinnati.  Oh, nice, man. Give it a little  Come on now. Let’s go.  I’ve been hearing good things.

 I’ve been hearing good things. Steve Smith went on the record. very good receiver himself as Cyrus Allen is going to eventually be in my humble opinion the number one wide receiver.  I’ll tell you what, that’s that’s saying a lot from Steve from if you’re hearing that from uh Steve Smith, man, you’re you’re  you’re opening some eyes at training camp.

 And you know, he got a little banged up early on. So, he’s he’s getting back off of, you know, he’s getting back into the swing of things. But, man, when he’s healthy and and we’re rolling, man, he is a he is a dog. and it’s fun to watch him just kind of play free. Um, and that’s that’s the biggest thing is as as a young guy is just being able to go out there and play free.

 You’re not thinking about all the little things and all the notes and the detail that the coaches are stressing. Um, and it’ll get easier for him as we get a complete game plan for an entire week and he can just focus on that game plan. I mean, there’s a lot there’s  there’s so many plays that you’re just getting thrown at you and so many details and they’re they all conflict each other at times, especially towards the end of camp.

 Well, especially a defense like Spags who’s going to be being multiple and doing all sorts of different things as well. Yeah,  exactly. So, so everything’s going to get a lot easier mentally uh going into week one and I’m excited for him to be able to, you know, get back to playing free and get back to just going out there and playing football, man.

 Um, but he is he is an absolute weapon and you hear that from everybody in the building. Anybody that’s been to camp has seen him making unbelievable catches and his routes are  [snorts]  uh are that he has his own unique feel to to running routes. And when you have a guy that understands that naturally, man, it’s a special thing, man.

 We got we’re going to have unbelievable wide out room, though. I mean, I I I have huge expectations [snorts] that Xavier Worthy is going to take that next step um and and take it take it a step further in terms of his his ability. No doubt.  Oh, listen. The athleticism is second to none in the league.

 and when you see how he how he trains his mind through practice. Um, a huge shout out to Coach O’Shea, uh, our new wide receiver coach coming in and and being able to give him uh, a little taste of, you know, just, you know, what he knows and helping him uh, understand some things as well. And, uh, right now the receiver room with uh, those two, Rashi, um, Taekquin Thordon, I mean, we we got some we got some guys that can go up top and some guys that can rock you up for sure.

 That covers the offense. How’s how how’s Spags looking? How’s the defense looking?  Stealth Cold is is is always going to be Chris Jones, man. He’s he’s going to be the  anchor and the guy make just creating havoc uh in the middle of the field. But he’s got he’s got another just absolute dog.

 Uh he’s a rookie, Peter Woods. He’s a rookie, but he’s got an absolute dog in the run game and pass game, man. This guy is he’s he’s violent violent hands. and he might not have the 65 frame that Chris Jones has, man, but he’s he’s he’s finding ways to leverage his ability, his feet, his understanding of football.

 It seems like he’s always a step ahead of where the ball’s going. Um, and then on top of that, man, he is a force. So, I’m excited for Peter Woods. On top of that, the outside, everyone’s seen our Mason Thomas get to the quarterback a little bit here in the preseason, shown his athleticism, his ability to, you know, get to the QB or just create havoc himself.

 And our uh our first overall pick, Dellayine, is going to is he’s going to be a perfect piece for Spags to be able to use out there on the edge at corner. Um a guy that’s willing to come down and and and shoot his gun in the run game, as well as uh one of the most athletic uh DBs I’ve seen in a long time out there.

 So, defense seems to be primed, uh offense seems to be primed, and I’m excited to go into this season with the uh the pieces that we got. Baby, I’m excited, too, because Monday Night Football, baby. That’s right. The Chiefs open the regular season on Monday Night Football. So, I get to come watch against the Denver Broncos.

 I gotta ask, it is the one topic everybody I think it’s been all but confirmed, but I I will ask you knowing that Andy loves when players comment on other players injuries. Is Pat going to start game one?  That’s a good question. I got  All right. All right. We’ll move on.  I might I might have to ask that question.

   I don’t know.  All right. All right, we’ll move on. We’ll move on.  Great questions.  All right, Jason, we talked about some Chiefs camp. Let’s talk some Eagles camp  for all our Philly listeners and   everybody interested in what the old gang green has got going on out there in uh in Philly.

 Everyone saw Coach Kel out there first off.  Coach Kel.  Coach Kel, baby. It’s only a matter of time. Jason just puts on the old aviators, the old sweater, get some slacks on. And wait, what is this?  It’s footage from me uh talking to Cam Jurgens, it looks like.  Oh yeah. Nice, nice, nice. I was like I thought you that was you back in pads with the jersey rolled up.

 I’m like what what in the world is  I I did rock the same look as Cam does. Yeah, for sure. Yeah,  that’s that’s a banger. How was it being back at camp and uh being uh being around the locker room and the guys?  Yeah, I mean I I just love being at training camp. I don’t know what it is. It’s like the energy of it.

 There’s a lot of guys trying to realize their dream. There’s excitement for the season.  The best man  and I felt the same way going to your guys one practice that I went to like  I mean even just watching nine on seven drill and hearing the grunts like just like for some like I’m like oh man this is like I’m like getting goosebumps hearing men grunt.

 Uh  but um it was great and obviously you know Nick Serian is still there. There’s still a lot of continuity there, but there is a new offense. There’s a new offensive line coach. Obviously, Jeff Stoutton stepped down. So, I was just curious to see how they’re doing things. Like, I kind of I want to continue learning about the game.

 That’s my selfish reason for being able to go down there and take advantage of like trying to, you know, this offense that they’re running now with Manion has been something that has spread across the NFL for a reason that it’s really successful and really good and um but something that I never played in. So, get to go down there, learn a little bit of it.

 Obviously, I wasn’t down there a ton, so I didn’t get to learn like everything. Uh, but it was cool. And then obviously Cooper, the new offensive line coach, Coach Coupe, uh, hearing how they teach things, the different techniques and this type of system, all that stuff. And then being able to help guys in any way I could, which was, you know, not as much as I would want to be.

 Like, I I would be awesome to be out there every day. Like, there is something that’s great about being on a field with guys and seeing the progress, right? Seeing a guy like Willie Lanin, like Willie L. I mean, I know we already got it in the rundown, but I mean, dude, the guy’s like 5’11. Like, there’s no way he should be able to play in the NFL.

 And to see like how he uses his hips, how he uses his feet, the energy and effort that he plays with. [music] Like, I I love watching that. Um, I love being around my former teammates, you know, Cam and and and and Dickerson and Mada and Lane and Steen. Um, yeah, it’s just it’s awesome to be out there.

 Uh very much a privilege to be out there with those guys when I can and it was uh it was fun. It was a great time.  Hell yeah. Well, Eagles uh posted a clip from Jaylen Herd’s point of view. Um why don’t we go ahead and play a little bit of this?  So, they got these cameras on the quarterback’s head now to see how he’s using his eyes and to see what he’s seeing. Yeah.

 And this went viral and I think it shocked a lot of people like what the perspective is from the quarterback position, which I don’t I’d be curious. I didn’t ask Jaylen this, but I’d be curious to ask Jaylen or Pat or any quarterback. Like how accurate is this to like what you see? Like  it’s very accurate.

 But don’t you see more peripheral? Like it feels like  of course. Yeah. the cameras shut off from there. But in terms of like looking forward and trying to see through human beings to see the human beings beyond them like that, that was very Yeah, that was I thought it was pretty cool. I don’t know if you can necessarily get like better like like understanding from it, you know what I mean? Like I don’t know how it helps you become better from that point of view more than like just watching it from like the sky view. I think the sky view

tells you more and you can see things more clear and things like that. I I think it’s I think it’s definitely a cool view for like anybody to see the point of like like to see that perspective. I think it’s I think it’s a cool thing in terms of like social stuff, but  yeah, I don’t actually know what they use that camera.

 I know that they’re doing more progression stuff, so I would imagine they probably use it for like making sure your eyes are in the right place to start the play and it goes there’s so much to the eye. Like you said, the peripheral like I can see here and I’m feeling everything over here. Like it’s like  there’s so much in terms of your vision that you’re and and what you’re doing pre- snap that give you your reasoning for why you’re doing what you’re doing with the ball.

 You know what I mean? So it’s either way it’s that was a cool ass clip to see for sure. Especially Yeah. I mean when you see the guy, you know, throw to a guy coming out of the screen coming into the screen like how do you see that guy? You know what I mean?  Well, he anticipated him being there. It is part of the play. Yeah.

 Yeah. I got you. And it was cool seeing I think a lot of people appreciate how hard it is to play that position and like how much you’re anticipating and like doing things that really a lot of times quarterback probably isn’t seeing fully, right? Like you’re you’re you’re seeing with your eyes. cuz you’re but you’re seeing a lot and you’re anticipating what you know everybody’s going to be the timing in which they’re going to be there utilizing that combined with your footwork and everything and it’s just there’s a lot to that position and it’s

it’s really hard and it’s always good to see fans understand that it’s  hard especially that one  can talk about a few of your uh Eagles training camp favorites we just talked about Willie Lamin man the guy’s 5’11  uh smallest lineman in the NFL. Uh you’ve tweeted about it. There’s the obviously the highlight versus the Ravens.

 Um  yeah, dude. He and he did it last year. This kid’s been the same kid. Nothing’s changed. You know, obviously he’s getting older and he’s going to get better with technique and like aiming points and things like that, but the last year he was a dog and that’s why the Eagles claimed him from the uh from the Rams, right? Like Brian Baldinger was pointing out clips last offseason online and I’m like, dude, this kid is a beast.

 Like I just whenever somebody finishes, it’s something that I think stands out. And I tell rookies this every year. Rookies come up to me like, “Man, how do I make the team? Like how I just want to like how what do I do?” And I’m like, “Dude, you got to stand out. You got to do something.” And everybody stands out in their own unique way.

 Like I don’t know what your traits are. If you’re really smart, maybe you’ll stand out in the meeting room. Maybe if you’re real strong, stand on the weight room. Maybe if you’re real like a a really good like technique player, that’ll show up on film. The one thing that it shows up with everybody is your effort.

 and you can control.  If you finish harder than everybody else, that stands out to coaches and they love it. And every time they see it on tape, they’re going to notice it and they’re going to be like, “Man, that dude wants it. He He loves the game. He loves to compete.” And like, does it annoy teammates at times? Yeah, of course. Right.

 But that’s dude, this is part of it. Like, you don’t you can’t brother-in-law everything. And I just I I like I I I dig the kid’s mentality. He’s a wrestler. Everything about him says that he shouldn’t be able to play in the NFL. If somebody came up to me and like, “Hey, I got a son that’s 5’11, has aspirations of playing in the NFL.

” Before Willie Lamin, I would have said, you know, he probably should be happy playing college football, right? Just being dead serious.  5’11 at O line. Yeah.  Yeah. I mean, the re the chance I don’t know the last time this has happened. And not only is he playing it, but he is stout. He plays it at a high level.

Every time he gets an opportunity, he continues to show it. It’s one of those where like every time a coach like what do you think of Willie Lamkin? Well, I mean he’s he’s a really good player but like the size is going to come up and it’s going to rear its head and it continually doesn’t even when he’s playing guys like Jordan Davis and the Jaylen Carter who are massively like more gifted than he am in size and I just you know I like anybody and respect anybody that can overcome odds like that and be a special player. now.

He hasn’t done it in like a starting sense yet. Like still waiting to see what that would look like if that does happen, but just so happy uh to see and that’s type of effort in person is infectious. That’s the other thing I think I just love that he’s a Philadelphia Eagle because I think he represents what being an Eagle is important and why it’s awesome.

 That’s awesome, man.  They got a great room. Obviously, the five starters excited with Cam. Uh Landon Steen, Steen has had a fantastic training camp going up against one of the best like defensive linemen every single day in Jaylen Carter in the NFL and he has battled his ass off. I think he’s looked outstanding.

 Lane is obviously back. Jordan Mada can’t wait to see what this run game and system looks like underneath a lot of the outside zone boots like play actions. Um, it’s it was it was a very fun camp to be a part of and watching. Uh, and a lot of other guys stood out to. I’m pointing out Willie just because that was a guy that  was the guy I asked about.

 Yeah,  that’s who.  I’m also going to ask you about a guy that just announced this probably his last year, which is uh  Big Lane Johnson, 65.  Big Lane Johnson, man. Say it ain’t so lame. You  can keep going, baby.  Yeah. I mean, we think one of the one of the best guys to have in the on the in in an organization for as long as he’s been there, let alone uh one of the best guys out there on the football field this year. Yeah.

 Is going to be Lane Johnson.  I It’s It feels good that Lane is finally, at least locally, I don’t even think it’s still happening nationally, being appreciated for how unbelievably dominant he’s been in the NFL.  Close. Yeah.  Yeah. But I it, you know, listen, I made a bunch of all pros, right? because I’m I played the center position and most people couldn’t even name 30 centers in the NFL outside of their starter and maybe one other, right? Like most NFL fans.

 So like I played a position where there’s not a lot of notoriety in most of the guys in the league. And Lane is playing a position where  people are drafting first round picks every year and there’s big names at it at the tackle position at least for the offensive line. obviously different than like skill positions, but like the most notable player on almost everybody’s offensive line is a tackle.

 So, I just feel like he he hasn’t had like the notoriety of being the best pass blocking tackle in the NFL because he fights some of these political things of like first round picks and stuff like that. But like if you look at every metric and like being on an island, drop back pass, how long quarterbacks hold on to the ball, all that stuff, nobody’s really done it at a better level from a pass protection standpoint than Lane Johnson.

 And  you press play on that  film, you’re going to see how good Lane Johnson is, dog. So  there ain’t no  arguing that.  I’m I’m happy that it’s finally being recognized. I’m happy that you know if this is his last year. I know he said it’s his last year, but listen, you have some success and maybe you feel pretty good. But feel pretty good.

regardless. Um, he’s had an incredible career. Can’t wait to see the year that he has and, um, you know, it’s just he’s been such a phenomenal player and person in that building.  Oh, yeah.  Uh, you know, he was an incredible teammate to me. So, um, you know, excited to watch Lane in his last run. Uh, no doubt about it.

  yeah. Any of the skill positions uh, stand out to you this year at training camp?  I mean, all the ones that you you know are great. I mean, we got the opportunity to look at a lot of the receivers uh in the like, you know, Devonte Smith was hurt for a large portion of the training camp as well as Mai Lemon.

 So, we got to see Darius Cooper, another undrafted guy who ended up making the roster like have a really good training camp. We got to see uh Dantavian uh is it Dantavian or Dant uh  number 13,  dude? He’s a beast.  I was like, where the  did that guy come from,  bro? So, that’s a highlight to him. He was in Green Bay.  Green Bay. Yeah.

 He was in Green Bay and he came to Philly.  Look it up. Yeah. He had some success in Green Bay, too.  So, everybody coming out of Green Bay was like, “This dude’s actually like a player.” Like, he’s a baller. And then he got to Philly and even in OTAAS’s guys are like, “Yo, this dude can play,  right?” And then he goes on, he shows it for a lot of training camp as well.

 Like very, very skilled player. So, there’s a lot of depth at the receiver position. Now, um my obviously everybody’s talking about Mai Lemon didn’t have the best first preseason game. I mean, it’s one  preseason game, people. Can we not? He didn’t even practice for all the training camp.

 Uh let’s let the kid have a   pres. Exactly. So, regardless, I I I think,  you know, they have really really good skill position players. Saquon Barkley is back. Uh the tight end room, they’ve grown it, right? Like Dallas got now. They got the Johnny Munt guy who’s a block here. like will  put his face into people.

 I’m excited to see what this offense looks like. I’m excited to see a new under center, more motions, more shifts, more formations, and what the Eagles are going to do because they’ve been saying they’ve been holding back a lot in the preseason, right? They don’t want to tip off. It’s their competitive advantage to not show that until the season games start rolling around.

 So, I can’t wait to see what this thing is actually going to look like. uh how Shawn Manion does, how how Jaylen Herz does in a new system like this. Um the defense is I mean they’ve been pretty damn good already. So,  all right. Now,  yeah, they got some pretty good players over there.  Pretty good coach. Pretty good players.

All right, let’s keep this thing moving. Uh other big news in the NFL, Aaron Donald is officially back with the Rams after taking a twoyear uh two years to walk away from the game. kind of who knows maybe recharge maybe really think about retirement and maybe never playing again to all of a sudden Miles Garrett is a part of the defensive line room and it’s looking like there’s a lot more reasons to come back I guess I don’t know it’s uh it’s been pretty cool to u follow along the what the Rams have got going out there a lot of bigname guys

man I know they got my guy Trent McDuffy out there and really just you know look like a veteran team with a lot of proven proven allstars Yeah, I mean the last time the Rams went out and acquired a Super Team, they won a Super Bowl, right? Like that happened. That’s I mean, they they spent a bunch of money for it and it they had to kind of it took some time to rebuild the ability to build another super team, but they’ve done it again.

 Not only a super team, they’ve taken the the the best two physical specimen defensive linemen of my era of football. And then like they still have other like Kobe Turner was a great player for them last year, a really good three technique. Uh Byron, is it Byron? Young on the outside and then Fisk.

 Those guys run games really well. So like I start to think about how they’re going to utilize all five of these guys. Puna Ford, great run stopper. I don’t know how much of the third down he’s going to see with these kind of horses, but I know you Puna, you’re you’re  awesome. Respect the  out of your game. Anyways, I start thinking like what do you do to do this? Cuz people are like, “Oh, like AD like we we got to get Kel Center.

” Guys, I didn’t do  against Aaron Donald. He was a three technique. All I did was literally slide AND HELP THE GUARD. THAT’S WHAT I DID. WE DOUBLE TEAM HIM EVERY  SNAP. WE DID NOT LEAVE HIM ONE-ON-ONE. I never played another game. Chris Jones was the only other DTackle really that we played where we’re like, “Hey, we got to make sure we’re limiting his one-on-one reps.

” And it was even magnified where like the only time we didn’t double team, it was like a fiveman protection. It’s like, “I’m sorry, guys. Like, I can’t I got to go over here. I can’t help you.”  Yeah. Like I it if if the quarterback’s hot over here, we’re  So I got I got to go this way. Like even if it was a fiveman like picture this five big guys, right? Sixman protection with the running back.

 Every team in America against any other team you’re making a five call or a poker like the the five offensive line are going to block the five big guys.  Yeah.  We said  that. We’re sliding the Aaron DOWN LIKE BECK, YOU GOT THE SAM. YOU GOT THE 275 POUND SAM BECAUSE THAT’S AN EASIER MATCHUP THIS WEEK.  THAT’S CRAZY.  So like this is the reality of like what we went through and how we changed our protections throughout this week.

 And to be honest, like Wade Phillips, like Staley, uh Raheem Moert, they didn’t do a lot of blitzes off of that to make you worried about not doubling. Aaron, if I’m Schula, I’m bringing four away from AD, four away from Miles to make the quarterback and center like respect and just do a little bit of it.

 You don’t do need to do a lot. Just sprinkle it in one or two times a game. Bring bring a fire ZONE OVER HERE. THAT makes me like, oh  I can’t just double  Aaron. I can’t just do that. Yeah.  Yeah. So, I I’ll be very curious. Are they going to put them on the same side, let Fisk and Young run games on the other side? Are they going to put them both inside?  They gota I would assume nowadays.

 You got to do a little bit of a little bit of everything.  The bottom line is when you when you get ready to play really good players, you try to limit the one-on-one opportunities, right? So, you slide to an interior player. If you got a great edge player, you can try and slide to him. Sometimes that’s hard when there’s a three technique to get out there to help the tackle.

 So, you you put chips and slams. All of these things really bog down what you want to do offensively. It makes you alter what you want to do. Like the best thing you can do against a premier edge rusher like Miles Garrett is to put a tight end in front of him and to chip him because his get off is so good.

 Make him a little bit slower off the ball. Now all of a sudden the tight end is slower into his route. We’re losing another guy out there. It’s it just it gunks everything up. But it’s things that you have to do. If I’m getting ready for these guys, I’m still trying to double Aaron. I’m building all the play actions in where I’m getting a double on Aaron and trying to get a double on Miles as often as I can. I’m putting in cut pros.

 I’m putting in screens. I’m putting in cracks. Anything I can to try and get in these dudes head and all of that happens and it ends up you realize after you try and do all this that oh man, we’re not who we are. So, it’s it’s it is so hard. I can’t  wait to watch this. I really cannot.

I just can’t get over like you’re just going to give 50,000 without googling the guy’s name and find like what happened before this was noteworthy? Like did he have like some like internet like stuff out like fabricated as well?

So if you Googled his name it would show up like  if he did man hats off to him man. Are are women aware that like players even if you’re a practice squad player and you’re like very like not wellknown typically those guys were also at least some point really good college players and like there’s still like documentation that they are on the team.

 Kylie smiled, her voice clear and bright. Okay, welcome back to the Kelsey and Company podcast. Today we have a guest, or rather a familiar face from the Kelsey family, Travis Kelsey. Travis chuckled, straightening up. Couldn’t you have found a better guest? Trust me, nobody can brag [music] more than you, so you’re always the perfect guest, Kylie retorted, seizing the opportunity to tease.

 And I guess you have a lot to brag about today, like your new house in Cleveland. Travis immediately feigned seriousness, raising his hands in surrender. Okay, okay, I admit it. I’m here to brag. Kylie burst out laughing. She’d anticipated this episode would be noisy, but she hadn’t expected Travis’s eagerness to be so obvious.

from the way he’d texted her a few days earlier. You have to invite me to your show. I have some super big news. To his willingness to arrive an hour early just to refamiliarize himself with the microphone, it all betrayed one thing. Travis was carrying a story he wanted the whole world to hear.

 “Okay, let’s get started,” Kylie said, flipping to the first page of notes. You texted me near midnight saying, “Kylie, you absolutely have to put me on the podcast this week. I just welcomed a VIP guest to my Cleveland mansion.” “Explain why it was absolutely.” Travis cleared his throat, a childish grin spreading across his face like he just performed a new magic trick.

“Because,” he drawled. “It’s not every day that I can say this. Taylor Swift just came to my house in Cleveland.” And you know, I have to share that with the whole world. The studio erupted in laughter from the crew backstage. Kylie raised an eyebrow, both surprised and amused. Ah, I see.

 So, you’re on the show today to brag that you just welcome Taylor Swift to your mansion. Exactly. Travis raised both hands as if he just scored a touchdown. If I didn’t brag to you with this podcast, who else could I brag to? One, it all started with a midnight text message. Kylie recounted to the audience how it all began. That night, while she was in the kitchen preparing a late night snack for Jason and the kids, her phone vibrated incessantly.

Looking at the screen, she saw Trav flashing along with a series of fireworks, gold trophies, and a house emoji. At first, I thought it was something related to the game, Kylie recalled. But when I opened the message, it was just one line. Sister, I did it. Taylor is coming to my Cleveland mansion this weekend, followed by 15 exclamation points.

She burst out laughing. Throughout the months, she’d witnessed her brother-in-law’s relationship with the famous singer. Kylie had become accustomed to Travis’s excitement when Taylor came to watch a game, when she made a surprise appearance at a team event, or simply when they found their schedules coincided.

But this time, his excitement seemed to surpass all previous occasions. Explain it. Kylie turned to Travis in the studio. This is Taylor’s first time at your Cleveland mansion, right? Yes. Travis nodded, pride evident. I’ve been chatting with you about that house for months. I’ve been renovating every corner, just waiting for the the future mistress to drop by.

 Oh my god, Kylie put her hand to her forehead. You’re calling her the future boss on the podcast. Cut that out if you want, Travis winked at the technician. But I suspect fans will find out no matter how much we try to cover it up. He explained that his Cleveland house used to be just a bachelor’s base, a place where he and his friends would gather to watch games, play video games, and have barbecues.

The living room was sometimes cluttered with playbooks, sneakers, and football caps. The kitchen was mostly used for ordering takeout. But everything changed when Taylor came into his life. I started to realize I couldn’t invite Taylor to a place where the sofa was a museum of old jerseys and pizza boxes, Travis confessed, making everyone laugh.

 So, I did a complete overhaul. And this overhaul is worth a podcast episode. Two, the transformation journey of the Cleveland mansion. Kylie liked how Travis used the word mansion to describe the house. It wasn’t exactly a castle in the classical sense, but by ordinary standards, it was a massive house, multiple bedrooms, a large backyard, an entertainment room, a movie theater, and a gym with all sorts of equipment.

When I first heard you say the mansion, I thought, “Yeah, just another big house,” Kylie recounted. But then I went to see it and I have to admit it really was a mansion just a little lacking in a woman’s touch. Travis chuckled. That’s putting it mildly. The first time you came, you asked me why are there three TVs in the living room and not a single decent painting on the wall.
