Royal connections! Kylie Kelce reveals sister-in-law Taylor Swift helped reach out to Prince William & Kate Middleton for New Heights
Here’s the thing about the sport of field hockey. We all have to stick together. So, um, Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chitchat about some field hockey and maybe kids, we got a couple things in common. And our husbands chitchated on the other podcast. >> I don’t know what Well, you want to be respectful and and know what the protocols are, but >> um, no, it was awesome and you were fantastic. Uh, the kids were great.
>> Yeah, >> Charlotte still or Princess Charlotte was still the highlight for me. I don’t I have four daughters as well. So, I mean, she she was great. >> No, congratulations having four daughters. I don’t know how you do that. [laughter] >> That is definitely a uh a difficult task, the hardest job. >> And just to get this out of the way, go birds and go Uncle Trap.
We’re taping this less than 24 hours after both wins, and I’m still pretty hype about it. Now, I wish that the Eagles would just safely win. It’s shaving years off of my life. Cut that out. Okay. You know what’s not shaving years off of my life? The fact that Uncle Trav broke another record. That’s right. Cuz he is the best.
I said what I said and I’ll say it to anybody’s face. Okay. Go ahead, Trav. Yes. Now, I guess I’ll try to focus. I’m your host, Kylie Kelsey. Big giant fan of Fat Bear Week. Happy Fat Bear Week to all who celebrate. There is a outstanding display, just an outstanding display of um bears, specifically fat bears, who are they’re worthy of your support.
Okay. Now, some favorites this year. Um, chunk for the repeat maybe, but a lot of people are rooting for female Marshmallow. That’s right. Her name is Marshmallow, who is reportedly, this is a quote, a quote, the fattest she’s ever been. Why can’t anybody Why can’t anybody cheer me on when I’m the fattest I’ve ever been? Who are we kidding? My husband’s cheering on that fat ass.
Am I right? Okay. Anyway, contrary to popular belief, I did not adopt another dog. Guys, guys, my friend Alex did. Speaking of, we’re going to test out my self-control again next week with some more adoptable animals from the PSPCA. I’m so excited. And to answer the question many of you are asking, yes, all that [ __ ] was really in my minivan in the cleanout video we posted.
Someone really said that can’t be real. Oh, never mind. The next comment on that comment is, “Notice how it’s only men saying that.” A few other observations from the comments. Someone said, “It’s Jason’s NFL locker all over again. Guys, we’re meant for each other. And we also got our first candidate for SMA of the week, courtesy of that comment section.
Someone said, “Jesus, don’t get it. Don’t let it get that bad again. Make the kids take trash in every time you get home. It’s easy.” [sighs] Do you know how many there are? Are you new here? There’s four of them. Do you know how many snacks they eat on an average 10-minute car ride? 42 each. Suck my ass, dude.
It’s not that serious. It really isn’t. Cuz guess what? It got cleaned. Sometimes things get away from you. Stop acting high and mighty. Okay. You’re telling me that if I open every single closet in your house that it’s going to it’s going to be tidy. That’s not the life that my ADHD brain lives in. So, you can suck my ass.
I knew we were filming that content, so I held off cleaning my car all summer long. Chill out. God, take this stick out of your ass. Coming up on today’s episode, I’m going to answer even more semi unhinged questions from the real ones about men who have a problem with women who like football. Yuck. We’re also going to be treated to some alltime doom scrolls about grandparents getting away with literally everything.
Princess Kate, the field hockey phenom, and pumping in public. After that, I’m so damn excited for this. I’m going to be joined by a comedy icon, actress, comedian, queen of the singer, and someone I have, you guessed it, no business speaking to. It’s Jane Lynch. What? Guys, what? No. What? I can’t. She does hit us with a my office now.
She hit us with it. She sue Sylvestered us. Stay tuned or you’ll miss it. Gosh. But first, let’s start things off with Real One comment of the week. And this week’s comment comes in the form of a Real One Tik Tok because I got a shout out from comedian and content creator Cirrus. Let’s see this clip.
Do you know Kylie Kelsey? >> I know her husband. >> What’s his name? [laughter] >> He used to be on the Eagles. >> He did. >> Which one is that? >> Philadelphia. >> Philadelphia. She’s amazing. >> Like like very very progressively thoughtful, articulate. I would do that podcast with me with him. >> If she talked more on it, too. [snorts] >> I would assume I I would I think they have it together. No.
>> And then, you know, the brother on >> I don’t know too much about that, but [laughter] like big thumbs up. Are you [ __ ] kidding me? First of all, knowing about me and [clears throat] not my husband or my brother-in-law. Wild take. Thank you. But also, I could tell you about them. They’re great. You’d love them. They’re a good time.
Um, also can we just for can we just have a moment of pause for this beat? Are you [ __ ] kidding me? I feel like I I feel like I could stare into their face for like 6 days straight and just like let it burn into my retinas. Get out of here, but stay so I can stare at you more. Do we get you guys a special guest? Are you good? Are you gonna are you going to be a special guest? You can check on on Seus on Tik Tok if you haven’t already.
Some hilarious NFL Tik Toks. Let’s see him rage beating his boyfriend. >> Can only two teams play at a time >> like on the field. >> He said what? >> Any way to get a touchdown without like getting a touchdown >> like in the end like making it to the end. Is there seven points that you can get without doing that or no? >> No.
Can you do it without crossing that line? >> If you have any football questions, I might be able to answer them. We could try. Although, I feel like you already know the answer to a lot of your questions. [laughter] Just a thought. All right, that’s it for Real One video of the week. Next up, the real ones sent in so many questions last week that I’m going to answer a few more bangers in a brand new edition of Ask Me Some Things.
Because some of you can’t be trusted with an Ask Me Anything. Ask Me Some Things is brought to you by NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV. Every game, every Sunday, all in one place. First, are we are we doing rapid fire? We were good at rapid fire last week. >> We were a little too good at rapid fire. >> Wow. Oh, it was too fast.
Too rapid of fire. Queen Emma said last week was too rapid. I was too good at rapid fire. So this week we’re going medium fire. She said apparently I did not provide enough context to any of my answers. [laughter] Although I did show my husband my answer about the dancing because I still feel like I nailed that.
His response, Travis is enthusiastic. Not the point. First up from Jordan. What should I do if a guy I’m interested in says you’re weird for liking football? I’m sorry, Queen Emma, but I fear this is the most rapid of fires. I think you should tell him to suck your ass. Yuck. Is he intimidated because you know more about football? Is he bothered by the fact that you’ve paid attention? Is he upset about the fact that he can’t impress you because he can’t make it look like he knows a bunch about football because you actually know
either the same amount or more? I think maybe go find someone who’s going to really enjoy the fact that you have a shared interest. On a similar note, we also got a question from a new football fan, Barbra Babs. What do you got? How do they decide where along the line yard line to snap the ball? Help a Swifty learn football. Go birds. Dead ass.
Dead ass. I have no [ __ ] idea. I’m so sorry, Swifty. I wanted to help you. [clears throat] Dead ass. I have no idea. My assumption is that it goes on the yard hashes on the side of the field where the play finished, but I don’t know. And to be quite honest, this has not impacted me in any way, shape, or form watching football.
I’m being told that’s correct. That was just my assumption. I just don’t want to say it with my whole chest like I’m right or that I’ve read that rule. Look at us babs. Barbara, we got there. And last, someone asked, are you a music on or off person in the car when you drive alone? Now I think there’s a population of people who would say music off in the car by yourself.
But there have been a number of times where I have gotten in the car turned there’s nothing on and I get all the way to my destination and I realize that I was sitting in silence. Sometimes I do that. Sometimes my thoughts are so loud that I actually don’t need any extra noise. Yeah. Um, now if I had to choose between some of the requests that my children have and sitting in silence, I may also choose silence because you can only listen to the Descendants 4 soundtrack so many times, you know. And for the people who
are like, I put on Foo Fighters and my kids cool. I’m happy for you. Cool. Occasionally I can get away with Beyonce or I don’t know Paramore or Kesha Cole. Like occasionally I can get away with it. Oh, Shaniah Twain. Um, we got into a little Selen Dion last week. Okay. But sometimes I just get bullied and sometimes I’ve had enough, you know.
Let me tell you, Olivia Dean has been on repeat in our car. So that music on Olivia music on Olivia Dean. Oh my gosh. Is this for real? For real? Okay. Apparently Spotify has an update now where kids music will no longer affect your wrapped or recommended playlist. Kiss my ass. You’re kidding. That’s amazing. Wow.
Talk about adapting. Hell yeah. Oh, I’m so excited. That really that brought the vibes up. Wow. Because like, don’t get me wrong, I’m so into like Go Noodle. Yeah, we llamed all the way to school today. Happy llama, sad llama, totally rad mama, super llama, drama llama, big bad mama llama, moose, goose, llama on the loose.
This is my favorite part. President Obama llama. Yes, we can. I the fact that my the fact that the whole minivan is jam into that is ridiculous and I love it. How about that for rapid fire? All right, that’s Ask Me Some Things brought to you by NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV. Let’s keep it scrolling and rolling with Doom Scroll of the Week brought to you by Door Dash.
First up, as a mom to enough creatures, this grandmother is really testing my aunt uncle grandparent privilege policy. Queen Emma mother clip, please. Um, this video says, “That’s weird. My mom became a grandmother and forgot how to say no.” >> I think that’s a universal experience, honestly.
For our audio listeners, the kid is walking into the house with a new aquarium with a little fish in it. Like a little a little a little aquarium, a kids-siz aquarium. Uh, grandma’s standing next to the car, smiling and waving. Interesting. Couple questions just to clarify. Does grandma live at the house now as full-time fish care? Because that’s the only way this makes sense.
I think mom has to be on board with any additional heartbeats added to the household. I feel very strongly about that. We have had a fish in our house. Its name was Paci. It kicked the bucket. It l to be clear, it lived for a while. RIP Paci pour some out from a dead homies. We’re unsure why. Was it the fact that someone sunk some CR some markers in the fish tank and died it blue? I don’t know.
If I could have saved Paci, I would. Okay. But also, don’t bring heartbeats in the house without mom approving. That’s that’s ridiculous behavior. We don’t do that because you know who’s going to be responsible for those heartbeats? You guessed it. Mom. I don’t think Nana or Dee would do this. I think that I mean if they wanted to get us a cat.
Ladies, ladies, don’t don’t get us anything with a heartbeat. Dee and Nana, for my audio listeners, I’m winking. Donna, Lisa, if you’re listening to this, feel free to get us a cat. Don’t tell Jason. Donna us women have to stick together. I know he’s your flesh and blood, but let’s be real. Women supporting women.
Just kidding. Am I okay? Next up, Princess Kate just reminded everyone that she’s still an absolute boss at field hockey. Let’s see this clip. Queen Emma. Watch out. [applause] >> Who’s she apologizing to? Did she hit someone? I would love that. Now, here’s the deal. First of all, looks beautiful doing it. Love that.
For everyone in the comments um who are about to correct me, I’m aware that she’s actually playing the Scottish sport of shinty. I’m still calling it a win for field hockey because where do you think she got that skill? Yeah, that’s right. She’s a field hockey player. Also, this brings me to another point I would just like to point out.
I think ESPN did us dirty as a sport. Okay, there’s a clip that went viral a week and a half ago maybe where ESPN posted a highlight shot in a field hockey game and it wasn’t our best showing. I have to be honest, no disrespect to the athletes that are involved in this highlight clip.
The person who took the shot did a great job. The goalie was trying to do whatever they could to try and get back into position to play and ended up falling on the ground for a second. Okay. Sometimes you do what you can, but it wasn’t our best showing. And we got ripped to shreds in the comments. I would just like to say, first of all, it’s a bunch of Are we going to say it? I think everyone already did.
It’s a threeletter word and it starts with M and ends with en. Also, field hockey is, correct me if I’m wrong, production team. Field hockey is the fourth most popular sport in the world. In the world. Soccer, cricket, basketball, field hockey, [ __ ] God damn. I think we might be able to find another highlight clip that would encourage men to sit the [ __ ] down and stop leaving stupid comments.
And also, Princess Kate, she showed you what’s up. That’s a transferable skill. Field hockey. Going to Shinty. We like it. I’ve never heard of Shinti and now I’m intrigued. Are we going to Scotland? [sighs] Should we go to Scotland and play that sport? Here’s the thing about the sport of field hockey.
We all have to stick together. So, um, Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chitchat about some field hockey and maybe kids, I don’t know. We got a couple things in common. and our husbands chitchated on the other podcast, but you could come on this one. I don’t know. Just a thought. It’s a thought.
We’d love to have you. No pressure, please. Okay. And lastly, as someone who’s breastfed for tiny humans, I’ve had to pump in some unique locations. Let’s see this. The text over this clip says, “Me wearing my discrete pumps in public.” >> And um well, this woman was blessed. And so her discrete pl pump pumps have only made her bra even more of a lift, if you will.
And the pumps are hanging out of the top. And you know what I say to this? Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Nothing enhances a conversation like a nice little Now I was a lazy breastfeeder and by that I mean that I took them with me not the pumps the child because they wanted it straight from the tap. But the wearable pumps are a gamecher.
Are we going to look like Madonna or the women the the robots from Austin Powers? Yes. But also, we are literally sustaining life in front of your eyes. So, appreciate it. Marvel at it. In other pumping news, shout out to the writer who brought a bedazzled breast pump to the Emmys. What a badass. These are the types of things where we take away the stigma of trying to pretend like we’re being like demir and secretive and I don’t know [clears throat] it. Cut that [ __ ] out.
It’s amazing that you are breastfeeding your child or even crazier exclusively breast exclusively pumping. I bow down to you. I say that every single time I bring it up. I bow down to people who exclusively pump. That’s insane. Just the idea of washing a pump makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out. You guys are amazing.
No one should have any feel any type of way. Similarly, similarly to breastfeeding in public, no one should feel any type of way about pumping in public. If you have wearable pumps, [ __ ] go for it. And I will happily pretend like I can’t hear your milk pouring into the cup. I’ll do it. I’m here for I’m I’m committed to the bit. I hear nothing.
Unless you want me to acknowledge it and then we can have a good giggle. Okay, I like this. That’s it for Doomcir of the Week brought to you by Door Dash. Jane Lynch is coming up right after these messages from me. The 34year-old mother of four made a public request for Kate Middleton to make an appearance on her Not Gonna Lie podcast on Thursday, September 24th.
It started with a discussion about the Princess of Wales recent field hockey display during a trip to Scotland earlier this month. Princess Kate just reminded everyone that she’s still an absolute boss at field hockey. Kylie, who coaches field hockey for her local team, said, adding that Kate, 44, looks beautiful doing it. For everyone in the comments who are about to correct me, I’m aware that she’s actually playing the Scottish sport of shinty.
Kylie added, I’m still calling it a win for field hockey because where do you think she got that skill? Yeah, that’s right. She’s a field hockey player. Kylie then decided to shoot her shot of her own and invite the British royal onto her podcast. “Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chitchat about some field hockey and maybe kids,” she offered.
“I don’t know. We got a couple things in common.” Kylie, who shares daughters Wyatt, six, Elliot, five, Bennett, three, and Finn 1, with her husband, Jason Kelsey, added that our husband’s chitchat on the other podcast. Back in July, Prince William, 44, made a surprise appearance on Jason, 38, and his brother Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
Kylie concluded her pitch by noting, “But you could come on this one. I don’t know. Just a thought. It’s a thought. We’d love to have you. No pressure, please. William also met Kylie’s sister-in-law back in 2024 when he brought his children, Prince George, 13, and Princess Charlotte, 11, to see Taylor Swift’s London Era’s tour stop. The royals snapped a selfie with Swift and Travis backstage at Wembley Stadium.
Earlier this week, William and Kate stepped out at the global premiere of Tom Cruz’s new film, Digger. The royals greeted guests and posed with the action star on the red carpet at the Odon Lux Leester Square in London on Tuesday, September 22nd. Coincidentally, Cruz, 64, appeared on Travis and Jason’s New Heights podcast last week, while Kylie Kelsey is your biggest cheerleader.
As a mom to four girls and former competitive field hockey player herself, Kelsey teamed up with Dove for a special contest designed in an effort to champion women’s sports and encourage girls everywhere to stay in the game. The contest called Back Her Game is a nationwide search to find one girl sports team that embodies joy and confidence while playing the sport they love.
The winning team’s prize, a trip to Brazil to experience the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Sports can give girls so much friendship, confidence, teamwork, and memories that stay with them for life. But that only happens when they feel supported enough to keep playing, Kelsey, 34, said in a statement for the Dove press release. As a coach, I love that this campaign shines a light on girls sports teams that show up for each other to remind girls everywhere that they belong on the field exactly as they are, continued Kelsey, a Dove partner and wife Philadelphia Eagles
star Jason Kelsey. The contest was inspired by the broader Dove commitment to help keep girls confident and in the game after research done by the brand showed that one in two girls who quit sports have been the subject of body criticism. Kelsey herself has spoken to people in the past about how success at her sport enabled her to overcome any self-doubt about her own body and instead focus on all the positive attributes she possessed.
Early on, I was able to drown out these ideas of I’m too tall or my legs are too thick because in my head I was like, I’m tall and I have reach and my legs are thick because they’re strong, she told people of her field hockey career. I was able to see that narrative very early on because of the way my body applied to field hockey.
And that made it so much easier to understand that your body isn’t about how it looks. Your body is about how strong you can be. How does it work for you? And what can it do instead? To help other girls develop that same feeling of empowerment, Dove developed its body confidence sport program through its self-esteem project, which is designed to supply coaches with the tools to build body confidence among girls ages 11 to 17 and help create more supportive sport settings.
Through back her game, Dove is searching for teams that are fostering supportive environments where female athletes can strengthen confidence, feel like they belong, and have fun while playing sports. Soccer legends including Mia Ham and Alyssa Thompson are also helping spread the word about the search to grant the winning team the trip of a lifetime in addition to new team uniforms and a body confidence sports session to help the coach empower his or her team to recognize everything their bodies are capable Love.
