Talk about that. That time I did hold on to my beer.  You did.  What was I guess you brought it up. What was that first impression like? What was Did you know I was told to be on my best behavior?    I didn’t know what you were told, but I did know that one of the first things I saw was like you say to Kylie, “I was just shotgunning beers with the Bills Mafia and I really want to go through one of the the fire tables.

”  Yep.  “I want to jump through it. I want to jump onto the flaming table.” And she goes, “Okay. Can we not do that right now?”    Yeah, guy.  And since then,   I’ve heard her say that exact thing    to your 4-year-old. About like, “Mommy, I want to throw this pudding on the wall.

 Wouldn’t that be fun? Can we not do it right now?”  That’s a That’s a common phrase for  And so, I meet you. You’re exactly as I thought you would be. Kylie is exactly as I thought she would be. Just like the realest, the smartest, the coolest. You’re fantastic. Obviously, you know that. Um and then, I swear to God, Jason, it you flew through the window at light speed.

I’ve never seen someone so big move so fast.  It’s impressive.  It’s like you know when you see a cricket and it’s here?  Yeah.  And then it’s gone and it’s  and it’s 16 ft that way. You’re like, “Did it just jump that way? How did it do that?”  And he surprisingly he gets more athletic the more drunk he is.

 I mean, it’s real.  I really should have played in the NFL drunk. I think it would have been better.  You know what? Not no. At this point, I would never argue with that. And all of a sudden like, you’re out there in the snow. You’re handing me children through the window. Like  I was trying to.

 That was  It’s fully  Not my best moment.  It was. And like,    I think it actually was. And I’m really grateful  I was like, “You want to see Taylor? I got you. LET’S GO.”    WE’RE GOING.  WHOSE WHOSE IS THAT, JASON? Do you know where this kid came from? Um yeah, it was  I think it was your best moment and I think I’m very lucky to have gotten to see it.

 This could be the most romantic thing in the world. It can also be like this is he is crazy, But there’s a there’s a right crazy.  Yeah, he’s the good kind of crazy. And I I knew that he wasn’t crazy the first couple of times that we talked. I was just like he’s he’s truly like he’s truly getting to know me in a way that’s very natural, very pure, very normal.

Like also like just the way that he could make me laugh so immediately about normal things. The like Travis is like he’s just a vibe booster in everyone’s life that he’s in. He’s like a human exclamation point. Like You know, he’s like when you take a picture on your phone and you put the like you push the enhanced color button, that’s like what you do to everyone’s life.

So so I use so many more exclamation points. Now, but I think it was just like you also you were so you’re so non-judgmental about people and you were not judgmental about the fact that I knew nothing about the world you were in.  [clears throat]  It was the best.  You were nice you were so nice.

 You were like thank you so much.    Jason, on our first date, I literally I I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl and he looked across the field across the line of scrimmage and saw his brother standing on the other like 5 ft in front of him on the field.

And he was like He was and he didn’t even he didn’t even look at me. Like I now know what an insane question that was. He was like actually, I’m on the offense and my brother’s on the offense and I’m only on the field at the same time as the defense. I thought everyone was on there at the same time.    I thought I thought that the quarterbacks  that’s how you played it on the on the playground growing up, so I understand if you hadn’t like  No, you don’t understand.

 I thought it was like Jared Goff is here and Josh Allen’s here.  Yeah.  And they’re going to be like they blow a whistle and then they they go at each other and they’re like and I was like, “Who’s going to win?”  That’s actually  I would love to see Jared Goff play some  He is off on Tuesdays depending on what he’s feeling like during the season.

 He might pop in for treatment in the morning. And then Fridays is a fairly short day, but he’ll stay and get a haircut from Lib and then get a massage and so it’s he’s home later in the afternoon that day and so we just have sort of I mean, his he works the schedule what works like how it works for him and I feel like in in 13 years he’s worked out the kinks, so um we’re we’re here whenever he comes home.

We’ll see when we see him, I guess.  How was it How was it postgame? You can talk about the even the verse the wins and the losses.  Immediately postgame I joke around that uh he has to perfectly quaff his beard and that’s what takes him so long. He is consistently the last person out  of the whole group.

 And for the life of me  He’s been that way.  I He is the king dilly dallier. That’s what he is.  say that it’s not because I’m quaffing my beard. I just want to make that clear.  It’s cuz he’s on his phone.  No, I just take a long get undressed and I got a lot of tape and the media people always ask me questions.

 He’s so cool. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been waiting in the family room and they’ll turn the lights up like the mood lighting turns off, the lights go up and the people in there will be like, “Excuse me.” and I’ll be like, “I guess I’ll stand outside.” He’s not here yet.  That’s been I mean, that’s been Jason’s MO his entire life is he’s always the last one out.

 Has it?  1,000%.  What else have I been the last one out for?  For every football game you’ve ever played, you’ve always been notoriously the last one out.  I will say over the years I’ve come to realize that since childhood, there has not been much of a transformation.  No, I’m still a child.  With Jason.

 Because like that, knowing that he’s always been the last and still is consistently the last. And then when I talked to your mom about him forgetting things and she said, “Well, don’t be worried because he’s been that way since he was little. I used to leave his lunch and his homework right next to each other on the dining room table and I would get a call after he left for school and he would say, ‘I got my homework but I forgot my lunch.

‘” And she was like, “They were right next    So I’ve told a few stories to your mom about him trying to find stuff. And Yes, he is.  What What’s the What’s the necklace?  It’s It’s a little necklace from my favorite jewelry store.  Love that. Love that.  Without fail, if he comes    It is.

 I’ve heard that this was the Mama Kelce gift like every single year. No, it was earrings and a candle.  And what and pistachios.  Yeah.  I didn’t know that.  And and turtles, the little turtle chocolates.  From See’s Candy?  Um I don’t think those are from See’s.  Mhm.  Well.  What?  I tried. Jason got me this necklace and he also got me a Transformer.

He got me Optimus Prime.  I did. Is it Is it the Optimus that  Yes.  that turns into the the car and the robot? Nice.  Yes. I’m very excited about it.  But is it voice command?  Yes. Here’s the problem. The kids are terrified of it. We had it on for approximately 30 seconds and there were there was just absolute screams of terror and we had to immediately turn it off.

 So you haven’t gotten to appreciate it too much.  been in the box and every time they come downstairs and see the box they’re like, “It’s in the box.” And I’m like, “Yes, it’s in the box. You’re not going to turn on the robot.” No, I’m not going to turn on the robot. Every single time.    I would have to turn it on every time then.

 What were the favorite gifts for the girls? What did you see them light up for?  Everything. I mean there’s there wasn’t a gift  Uh Wyatt asked for a rainbow bear.  She did. She flipped her  Santa aka Chuck Hammond.  Is that who got that?  Yeah, cuz he went into Build-A-Bear. And uh he saved our asses the night before.

And he was at the mall. And he he hooked it up. Uh because that was a last minute ask.  Yeah.  It was. It was She had to have that.  for Barbie.  Correct. Which she got one.  Ellie was asking for dinosaurs.  And we got a lot of dinosaurs.  Probably too many dinosaurs.  Remember when I didn’t blow up your spot about being involved in Christmas shopping?  Yeah.

 I’d managed that the way    I’d managed that tone, sir.  Perfect. Perfect. You got to tighten up over there. Um  can you explain to everybody how it works for like NFL families when you have a Christmas game? Like did you guys open gifts at home later after the Eagles game or uh how did that work for you guys this year?  So our plan up until probably Saturday was to do Christmas completely on the 26th.

Um so basically to pretend that it wasn’t happening on the 25th and then suddenly that’s Christmas Eve and the following morning after the game Jason would be home for the full day and we would get to do the full Christmas morning and then into Christmas dinner. Um we lucked out and his schedule allowed him to be home Monday morning.

 So, we were able to do gifts Monday morning  Nice.  and then dinner the 26th. We still did dinner the 26th cuz obviously we were a little busy. And then, you know, he likes to lollygag. So, we were at the stadium until 10:00.  Just in the he had in the steamer?  Yeah, fluffing his beard.  Oh, no. I don’t know.

Well,  That’s That’s what I thought you named me as.  Okay, there was another Travis on a on a soap opera at during the day. And that was And I would just had thought he was the most gorgeous man in the whole world, and I named you after him.

 So, you told us Dad  Time out. Time out. I’m going to say hold on.  So, you told Dad that you liked the name Travis off of  a fat little kid from Overboard, but secretly you had a man crush going on, and that’s who you named him after.  Yep. Yep.  That’s so terrible. How could you do that?  Oh, well.

 No, I’m joking. Let’s talk about the biggest rivalry. The biggest rivalry in the human existence. I’m talking about the sibling rivalry.  Ooh.  Yeah.  Yeah.  I’m not going to I’m not going to lie. I didn’t really feel like we had a sibling rivalry growing up. But I also think that might have been because I was the older brother.

Um and I was just winning in everything. So, what Let’s hear from your perspective.  You weren’t winning everything. All right? You were winning the majority of them, but you were not winning everything.  If you won, it was because I  Something happened on New Heights that nobody was ready for, and Travis Kelce’s face said it all before he even got a single word out.
