Taylor Swift just got a very unexpected compliment from her husband, Travis Kelce, and Jason Kelce absolutely did not see it coming. During a new episode of New Heights, Travis and Jason reacted to Taylor’s surprise Law & Order: SVU sketch from the 2026 Emmys. Taylor appeared alongside Mariska Hargitay and the SVU cast playing a rookie detective while wearing a detective outfit and a holster, and Travis had one very specific takeaway.

 First, he praised Taylor’s versatility saying there’s not much she can’t do. But then he looked at Taylor in that detective outfit and said she looked kind of hot with a gun on her waist. Jason’s reaction was priceless. It was basically the brother version of wait, that’s what you noticed, but Travis wasn’t backing down.

 Instead, he joked, “Now I know what to get her for Christmas.” And honestly, that may be one of the most Travis Kelce reactions ever. While Jason was focused on the comedy of the sketch, Travis apparently noticed something completely different. But there was also a sweet side to the moment. Taylor’s appearance in the sketch was a surprise, and the segment played with references to her career, her fans, and her famous Easter eggs.

She even leaned into the mystery surrounding whether she would attend the Emmys while she was actually busy supporting Travis at the Chiefs game that same night. So while Taylor was playing a detective on television, Travis was apparently playing the role of her biggest fan.  Taylor can apparently be a pop superstar, songwriter, actress, detective, and professional Easter egg creator. But according to Travis Kelce, she also looks pretty good in a detective outfit, and Jason Kelce will probably never let his brother forget that comment.
